Riff: Vic Mensa – “Reverse” feat. G. Eazy

Jun 11, 2018

Let me see how you work/You boys smokin’ dirt, we smokin’ Larry Bird/Saint Laurent straightjacket, go berserk/Don’t get hurt, turn around and throw it in reverse

from Reverse lyrics by Vic Mensa

Vic Mensa connects with G. Eazy to celebrate all the riches they’ve accumulated. Mensa is racing through life at 100 mph and careening in and out traffic like it’s the Indy 500. Along for the ride is a beautiful woman who can’t decide if she wants to admire him or count the mounds of cash flying around in the backseat. Just when they’re about to reach the end Mensa slams on the brakes and kicks it in reverse just so he can relive the opulence over and over again. While he’s going one way G. Eazy is blazing past him going the other way. His car is full of the same treasures and he’s just as overjoyed as Mensa. Together they’re wreaking havoc on the roadways, raising Cain every step of the way.
