Riff: Soundgarden – “Eyelid’s Mouth”

Nov 12, 2012

Who let the water run down? (Cry Internal)/Who let the river run dry? (Live Internal)

from Eyelid's Mouth lyrics by Soundgarden

Heavy and satisfying, “Eyelid’s Mouth” doesn’t break new ground, but does give Soundgarden fans what they want, and radio rock listeners what they need. I’m not sure which “river running dry” it is that Cornell’s worried about, but it doesn’t really matter.
