Riff: J.K. The Reaper & Denzel Curry – “Break The Bitch”

Erratic bush league rap from two dudes who are in dire need of anger management classes. The beat is a rusty buzzsaw cutting through iron, more metal than traditional boom-bap. It sets the stage for a reckless clash of stupidity, the audible equivalent to a backyard demolition derby. Mad boy rap has become a trend among those who lack the skills to articulate their emotions and it’s led to a deluge of rudimentary rap. Beavis and Butt-Head are mad, and everyone’s a bitch. They’re looking to unleash their anger on anyone within arm’s reach, and like the brat in the grocery store throwing a tantrum the crowd is awkwardly looking away more annoyed at the spectacle than entertained.
