Baby, I’m sorry (I’m not sorry)/Baby, I’m sorry (I’m not sorry)/Being so bad got me feelin’ so good/Showing you up like I knew that I would
Some people are so bad they’re good, and sometimes sorry but not really sorry. Demi Levato explores this idea, using cliche phrases like, “payback is a (bad) bitch,” “the tables have turned,” and even tipping her hat to The Temptations’ 1966 hit “Ain’t Too Proud To Beg.” Whoever did her wrong is getting an earful with this one — she’s so impassioned she drops the F-bomb in the pre-chorus. But she seems to thrive off another’s pain from seeing her doing so well, and she packaged that into a bass-heavy pop joint.
