Riff: Brad Paisley – “Yankee Doodle Dixie”

Apr 8, 2013

Yankee Doodle came to town ridin’ on a pony/In Dixieland where I was born

from Yankee Doodle Dixie lyrics by Brad Paisley

Remaining as arbitrary on the bonus tracks as on the album proper, Paisley performs a brief excerpt of the patriotic Yankee Doodle nursery rhyme, substituting the macaroni pay-off for a shout-out to his Dixie homeland. As completely bewildering as it is utterly pointless.
