Riff: Andy Stott – “Violence”

Sep 30, 2014

Who’s stalking, who’s crouching?/Your glassy words lie so bright/Inside, inside

from Violence lyrics by Andy Stott

Super sparse inside a chamber of echoes, building through some phat 808s, and layers of distorted synths, this track just tastes like slightly bitter darkness. It refuses to stagnate, as the vulnerable (and slightly paranoid) lyrics only add to the overall aura. Depressing, yet amazing; [LISTEN].
