It’s not uncommon to see two rappers settle a feud over Twitter, but two see two iconic fast food chains go at it is another matter altogether.

The most recent fracas took place between representatives for Wendy’s and Wingstop, resulting in one of the most entertaining Twitter rap battles in recent memory.

The battle initially began when Wingstop posted a parody of Migos‘ “Bad and Boujee,” tweeting the following modified verse:

Gamestop, Wingstop
Copped a new game for the x-box
Saucin’ and tossin’ our wings in a pot, pot
We got the original Hot, Hot

Wendy’s representatives quickly responded with a Kendrick Lamar verse from “Humble.,” tweeting, “Sit down, Be Humble.” From there the brands got personal, starting with Wingstop blasting Wendy’s for using frozen beef, a jab at the Fresh, Never Frozen slogan.

Up until that point the tweets/rhymes were rudimentary, but Wendy’s had to respond to the heinous accusation with lyrical fire, tweeting a verse of its own:

Fresh, never frozen since 69
Trying to cop that mixtape, better get in line
Grabbed a couple wings now you’re trying to fly
But nothing gets ’em dipping like a Frosty and fry

While it’s unclear when the Wendy’s mixtape dropped, what is known is that the exchange between the two franchises is more entertaining and well conceived than half the rap battles out right now.

The cypher does go on for several tweets, and all things considered it’s an endeavor worth exploring further; a rap Olympics between rival franchises.
