NBA superstar Shaquille O’Neal has never been shy about his skills on the mic. Shaq Diesal has released four studio albums, and each has broken the Billboard Top 100; his most notable single being “What’s Up Doc? (Can We Rock?)” featuring Fu-Schnickens.

With the off season in full swing and nothing to do, Shaq has dusted off the mic once again, this time dissing fellow b-ball knucklehead LaVar Ball.

LaVar Ball, the father of Los Angeles Laker rookie Lonzo Ball and up and comer LaMelo Ball has clowned himself numerous times. All the incidents’ have made him one of the most despised sports personalities since Skip Bayless.

Shaq uses a classic Jay-Z beat to throw shade at LaVar and his Big Baller Brand. He starts by addressing LaVar’s abysmal basketball career, one that saw him averaging a shade over two points per game. In prototypical fashion, Shaq throws several people under the bus to get at LaVar: [LISTEN]

You beat me? That’s a bunch of bologna
You think you’re Mailman, you ain’t even Jeff Maloney
When did you play, huh, what year
Oh ya you play for Dallas, Erick Dampier

Truth is Shaq is a doofus both on and off the court, but he’s not malicious. in the end of the song he does praise LaVar for raising two outstanding ball players, rapping:

Two more things I gotta say
You’ve done a great job, I love how your sons play
And lil ‘Melo too, attitude hella cool
Jumper wet wet like two thots in a pool

O’Neal’s beef with LaVar began when he questioned the price of the Big Baller Brand’s ZO2’s. LaVar did eventually respond to Shaq’s diss track, saying that he and his son LaMelo could beat Shaq and his son Shareef in a game of 2-on-2. Shaq has accepted the challenge but no date has been set.

The two talk a lot of trash, though, so don’t hold your breathe in anticipation.
