In just one season Stranger Things has already developed a loyal cult following. If it’s not fans nerding out over pop up bars and halloween decorations, the cast themselves can be found creating lyrics to its throwback theme song.

Those fans, though, they’re a wide spectrum of generations young and old. And recently, a collective of budding rap superstars took the internet to task on bringing the rest of the fans up to speed on the second season of the show.

Three kids called the Trndsttrs put their creative prowess to the test by writing a spirited rap celebrating the hit series. Rapper Esteban “Mini” Serrano (10), his brother Mikael Serrano (7) and producer Josyah “JoJo” Lavina-Maldonado recently uploaded a video to their YouTube channel, giving a brief but entertaining synopsis of the first season.

In front of a Christmas-stringed wall, Mini does his best Kendrick Lamar impression kicking a few bars about key moments that occurred during the first season, opening with:

Who would of thought the weirdo would become the hero
Her name is Eleven, she is not a zero
Get your facts straight
Her scream created a pathway and a monster came through that gate

While Mini kicks hot fire, brother Mikael and JoJo play it cool, donning waffles and beat machines like it were an everyday thing. There is no questioning the passion, and whether you’re a fan of Stranger Things or not at the very least take a minute to peep the video to see just how adorable these kids are.

And yes, there are Eggos worked into the hook.
