Nora Eckler may seem like your average eighteen year old girl on the outside, but if you take a closer look, you will realize that there is much more to her than meets the eye. By performing wherever she can and producing her first album, "Young and Free," in Nashville, TN, Nora is transforming her dreams of becoming a country star into a reality. Nora began writing songs at the age of nine in her bedroom with a flashlight, she has told many others. "I was too embarrassed to let anyone know that I was writing songs, including my parents," Nora explains. However, that embarrassment quickly faded as Nora started to become more confident with her talents. "I wanted to sell my songs to Lee Ann Womack, but I realized that she probably wouldn't want to sing about butterflies, dolls and candy like most nine year olds," she laughs.
