Krystal Marie Peterson (née Harris) (born November 7, 1981 in Anderson, Indiana) is a singer-songwriter/instrumentalist who primarily plays the piano. Krystal has been singing since she was just 18 months old, and began playing the piano at 3 years of age. She also plays the cello, the keytar, the drums and the flute. She graduated in 1999 from Anderson High School in Anderson, Indiana at the age of 17. At the age of 25, she married 21 year old drummer, Daniel J. Peterson whom she met through a childhood friend. They wed in Middletown, Ohio.

She got her first big break performing the title song "Supergirl!" on Disney's The Princess Diaries Soundtrack and was also known for touring as the opening act for the Backstreet Boys on their The Black & Blue Tour.
