Aventura Song Lyrics

Aventura is a Bachata music group based in The Bronx, New York of Dominican origin.

The group was formed in 1994 by cousins Anthony (Romeo) and Henry Santos and brothers Max and Lenny Santos. They originally went by the name Los Tinellers (The Teenagers) . They later decided to change their name to Aventura. In 1999, Aventura signed with BMG. Three years later they gained recognition with the album We Broke the Rules and the smash hit "Obsesión", now a staple at Latin dance venues around the world. In 2005, Frankie J did an English cover of the song and saw success with it and the remixes that followed. The cousins Anthony and Henry Santos do not share a relation to the brothers Max and Lenny Santos.

Aventura created their own unique style of bachata by infusing the sounds of Hip-Hop, R&B and Reggaeton. They use both English and Spanish in their lyrics.

Aventura next scheduled CD is entitled "The Last" which is scheduled to be release in February 2009.
