I'm with Liza on that one. I am in a band similar to WCAR, and we don't claim to be christian either, because we don't view it that way. However, it may seem like it, and coming from a guitarist's perspective, you should just except the music you like and listen to it. Who cares if they are or aren't a religious band? Music isn't to be judged, it's to be listened to while rockin' out in the privacy of your house, while singing the lyrics into your hair brush xD.

um, they don't claim a christian label over the band. HOWEVER, the members of the band DO claim to be followers of Christ.

no, they are not a christian band, but these lyrics have the christian perspective. they incorporated bible verses in the lyrics, many of their lyrics have this style. on their movie 'to plant a dvd' they discuss how they want the album to take a different approach than mostl bands take by encouraging love, compassion, and of course, brotherhood.

It doesn't matter how you interpret the song. You don't neccessarily have to be a "Christian" band if you have just one Christian song. It's like the opposite of The Devil Wears Prada.. They're a Christian band but their newest EP is about zombies. I'm with the guy who said that you can interpret the song any way you see fit. Just sit back, close your eyes... or Stand up and mosh your brains out... and enjoy the friggin song! O_O

Look at Wikipedia. They state that they're NOT a Christian band but get the label only because they're actually trying to send out a positive message. And since most bands that do promote positive messages are Christian, they get labeled as a "Christian Band".

You can make every song in the world be about god if you think about it that way. Well maybe not saitanic songs but just about every song.

Arguments over what songs are about are completely meaningless. Music is subjective, everyone gets a new meaning from songs such as these. If someone believes it's about God's love, why can't they think that? It's the beautiful thing about music and lyrics.

I disagree, i don't think this song is about "god" at all. Just an opinion, but the majority of wecar's songs have lyrics that greatly relate to buddhist beliefs.

Actually, the song to plant a seed is about them starting as a band 4 years ago and in that time they have grown to become this famous and are satisfied that they are able to get their vision out through their songs.

i love them ever since i heard them on my friends iPod... has been my favorite song ever since. i dont care if my mom approves...music like this keeps me alive.
