Comments and Song Meanings

Noone seems to know this, and it surprises the me a lot, but once you know the meaning of this song, it makes it 1000 times better.
The lead singer wrote this song to his mother. At the time he wrote the song, he hadn't spoken to her in years, all because she disapproved of his marriage to his wife. Tonic was on a radio talk show in Sacramento years ago, I can't remember how long, but I remember the interview, and at the time, he told the jockey that he hadn't spoken to his mother after he married his wife (still married) and that the song was dedicated to his mother to explain to her why he chose his wife. Wow! But thats not the most touching part....the most profound part and impactful, was what he said right before the jockey played his song "If you could only see"....he said,
"If I had a second chance, I'd marry her all over again".
