just my opinion but really... drugs? do all good songs these days have to be about sex, drugs, or money? come on, i would honestly like to think of it as being more... i don't know, clean?
"light it up" could be talking about brightening your life up...
"something to pick me up" could be saying the narrator needs something uplifting in his life...
"head is spinning" maybe too much stress? too many things happening all at once too fast for him to handle like most people take a spinning head to mean?
it does seem to have a lot of references to drugs, pot specifically, but maybe it was just written that way to be more appealing to the listener, cuz let's face it, today in life drugs are appealing to almost everyone haha. personally, i'd rather think of it as talking about bettering your life, breaking away from bad situations or stress, that type of thing. but think whatever you want, it's still an amazing song ^^
