I heard this song when my grandma died in the spring, it spoke to me and all i did was cry when i heard it. its a very emotional song

This song came on after my father passed away... coincidence? I don't think so...

I love this song! It reminds me of my sister though,my Mom had a still born so I never got to meet her because of that. I was an only child and I was super excited to hear that it was a girl, But my parents came home and they told me the news. Me and my family are now blessed with two little boys, ( A three year old and a three week old) I love them like the wor!

i love this song, it really speaks to me because i can actually relate to the girl singing.... i almost committed suicide many times in the past few years, so i know exactly what it feels like... sometimes i think the line "funny, when you're dead how people start listening" describes my feelings perfectly, but after finally opening up to my closest friend, i've learned that suicide is NEVER the answer... that things will get better eventually, she really helped me through that tough time... but i am honestly in love with this song because it touches my heart in a way nothing else ever has... the band perry, thank you so much!

This song shout speak to everyone. My half brothers mom commited suicide I never met her but I know he misses her. I also have never really met my half brother only when I was little so this song means a lot.

This is a great song..my sis committed suicide on xmas 2010 and they sent a photo around with this song in a text message..first time I heard it so its hard to listen to without crying...and to find out its about a girl who committed suicide with a broken heart is exactly what my sis did...

my son died 4 yrs ago. they found him in the river. i love this song.he was only 32. he left my house told me he loved me and would be back soon. i never saw him again. he was in the river for 10 days before they found him

Beautiful! My 21yr young niece was in a single vehicle car crash on Oct. 20th, 2010 and died Nov. 8th from the injuries, She has two baby girls, 6wks & 1yr that will not get to know her. Every word is this song is so very lovely, "The Ballard of a Dove" touches me somehow.

This is one of my favorite songs. I know that alot of people have said this but, my older cousin died on a horse back riding accident and it really speaks to me. My familly is very close knit and horses are a great influence on me. Big thanks from me to The Band Perry.
