King Duncan, Duke Duel, David Polnick, One Take Jake and Reggie Costa formed the Amalgamated in 2007, with a fierce determination to play Traditional Jamaican Ska. The Amalgamated are named after the Joe Gibbs, UK subsidiary of Trojan Records -Amalgamated Records. Paying tribute to the original sound by playing high energy, up-tempo Ska Standards and original songs reminiscent of the 1960’s dancehalls of Kingston.
