  I would imagine this song is about mushrooms, I seem to remember hearing something about them being on mushrooms at some point while recording this because they stayed at my tattoo artists house, I don't remember if I heard it on an interview or from
  him but I think the lyrics are pretty self explainitory here. Oh and Alex is a good drummer but most metal drummers do blast beats on their left hand because most people are right handed. It would be pretty stupid to cross your hands over for the ride, not to mention euro blasts would be a lot harder to start on your left hand on the hi hat. No point in learning them two different ways for no logistical benifit.
