  I believe it is about two people who are so in love but are very far away from each other..long ago, setting a bar was a level of heat on your furnace...there were three levels...so, setting fire to the third bar means that as they think of each other or are together, they are literally in flames for their passion for each other...their passion is the heat, the fire..the closer they get in thought or in person...their fire ignites!
