The Saturdays are a five-piece girl group with members from the United Kingdom and Ireland. The Band consists of 5 performers; Frankie Sandford, Rochelle Wiseman, Vanessa White, Mollie King and Una Healy. It is noted that Frankie Sandford and Rochelle Wiseman were previous members of the now parted group S Club 8 and both featured in the show I Dream. Additionally Mollie King has also seen previous fame with her auditioning on the hit UK TV programme X factor as part as the girl band ‘Fallen Angelz’.

During the summer of 2007 The Saturdays united – under the record company Fascination Records and played as a supporting acting on Girls Aloud's 2008 Tangled Up Tour. The girls released their debut single "If This Is Love" on 28 July 2008 which charted at #8 on the UK charts, and their second single "Up" was released on 12 October 2008, charting at #5.

Their debut album Chasing Lights was released on October 27th 2008, receiving critical acclaim. It has been revealed that they will star in Hollyoaks Later.

They are also soon to appear on MTV's Super Sweet Sixteen UK after performing at a party which will be aired in February 2009. The girls have stated that they will be going over to North America to break into the music market in late 2009. Their song "Up" was featured in American adverts for the show Ugly Betty.
