Rihanna - Rude Boy Lyrics

Artist: Rihanna

Album: Rated R

  • Songwriters: E Dean, M S Eriksen, Rihanna Fenty, T E Hermansen, M Riddick, R Swire

Come here rude boy, boy, can you get it up?
Come here rude boy, boy, is you big enough?
Take it, take it, baby, baby
Take it, take it, love me, love me

Come here rude boy, boy, can you get it up?
Come here rude boy, boy, is you big enough?
Take it, take it, baby, baby
Take it, take it, love me, love me

Tonight I'mma let you be the captain
Tonight I'mma let you do your thing, yeah
Tonight I'mma let you be a rider
Giddy up, giddy up, giddy up babe

Tonight I'mma let it be fire
Tonight I'mma let you take me higher
Tonight baby, we can get it on
Yeah, we can get it on, yeah

Do you like it boy?
I wa-wa-want what you wa-wa-want
Give it to me, baby like boom boom boom
What I wa-wa-want is what you wa-wa-want
Na, na

Come here rude boy, boy, can you get it up?
Come here rude boy, boy, is you big enough?
Take it, take it, baby, baby
Take it, take it, love me, love me

Come here rude boy, boy, can you get it up?
Come here rude boy, boy, is you big enough?
Take it, take it, baby, baby
Take it, take it, love me, love me

Tonight I'mma give it to you harder
Tonight I'mma turn your body out
Relax, let me do it how I wanna
If you got it, I need it and I'mma put it down

Buckle up, I'mma give it to you stronger
Hands up, we can go a little longer
Tonight I'mma get a little crazy
Get a little crazy, baby

Do you like it boy?
I wa-wa-want what you wa-wa-want
Give it to me, baby like boom boom boom
What I wa-wa-want is what you wa-wa-want
Na, na

Come here rude boy, boy, can you get it up?
Come here rude boy, boy, is you big enough?
Take it, take it, baby, baby
Take it, take it, love me, love me

Come here rude boy, boy, can you get it up?
Come here rude boy, boy, is you big enough?
Take it, take it, baby, baby
Take it, take it, love me, love me

I like the way you touch me there
I like the way you pull my hair
Baby, if I don't feel it
I ain't faking, no, no

I like when you tell me kiss it here
I like when you tell me move it there
So giddy up, time to get it up
You say you a rude boy, show me what you got now

Come here right now
Take it, take it, baby, baby
Take it, take it, love me, love me

Come here rude boy, boy, can you get it up?
Come here rude boy, boy, is you big enough?
Take it, take it, baby, baby
Take it, take it, love me, love me

Come here rude boy, boy, can you get it up?
Come here rude boy, boy, is you big enough?
Take it, take it, baby, baby
Take it, take it, love me, love me
(Love me, love me)
(Love me, love me)
(Love me, love me)

Take it, take it, baby, baby
Take it, take it, love me, love me
(Love me, love me)
(Love me, love me)
(Love me, love me)

Take it, take it
Baby, baby
Take it, take it
Love me, love me

Personaly myself i love rihanna, she has a fantastic voice. and it is her music, its owned by her. She wouldnt sing it if she didnt like it, now would she?
and i don't think the song writer would sound any good if he/she would sing it, thats why they only write the music. rihanna song (or any other pop songs)are catchy and up beat. n how can you think that rock has alot of meaning. i dont think i would wont to think about going down a high way to hell :S.

Hip hop-is all about making people dance and have a good time.

example-If i made a exercising equipment but my face was like a dropped pie and my bodie was like an elaphant, and i got another girl to go up that is tanned and beautiful. Yes your right, she wouldnt get an award. But the product would end up selling better.
That's the same as rihanna. if the person who created the song has the worst voice in the world, but has a great ability to write them. what a better way to show it of than to get a beautifull artist like rihanna to show it of.
    Hip-Hop-real music
Rock Music-a hole lot of noise

  • Anonymous

Woah, guys! I'm 13 and personally, I don't think it matters about the lyrics- it's a catchy song and that's it. And what the hell is all this crap about Christianity and sex before mariage and all that? I'm sorry, but that has nothing to do with the song. She has money and a good voice- what more do you want to know?

  • Anonymous

When a writer comes to create a master piece, does this writer invented, or created all the words included in the written paper? Absolutely not. So if Rihanna doesn't write the lyrics to her songs what's the matter with that; or, on the other hand, if she doesn't composed the music for her songs what's the matter with that? In the end what matters is the fact that her beautiful voice, her talented skills to make all that lyrics, and all that music come together as one perfect and ejoyable song. Songs that houndreds of people around the world sing, songs that represent thoughts, emotions, and a way of life for many people. Doubtlessly, I can say Rihanna is an artist on her own.

  • Anonymous

I don't like Rihanna's music for one simple reason. It is NOT her music. She has a whole team of writers to write her the lyrics, and a whole team of professinal musicians to create the music for her. She is merely the one who "represents" the music that has already been created. For example, if I learn to speak French, did I "create" the language? Nope. Someone else created the language and all I really do is speak it. Similarly, all she does is sing it. Rock artists on the other hand, they write their own lyrics and they create all their songs from scratch. This is why Rock music is a lot more meaningful than hip-hop.

Hip-hop is all about making money... I hope none of
you think those 5-big record labels, and millionaire executives hire professinal musicicans to create music for artists like Rihanna just so that people can enjoy music - no - it is all about the money. ROCK music in contrast, heavily focuses on freely expressing deep emotions, stories, thoughts, etc, about a lot of things. Rock music is real music, and by "real" I mean that it is about real feelings written/composed/sang by the people who created the music. For example: if I create a computer and someone else goes to public and explain what the computer does, is there any merit in the 2nd person? Nope.

Hip-hop = the executives of the music industry only care about money, money, money. Not real music.

    Rock industry = real music.

I don't hate the song nor the artist but what I do hate is the motervator of the intent which is satan/devil deceiving our children with this garbage the artist and the industry should be ashamed.

the song is just ossam any body got problem then dont listen and shut your mouth...

Seriously, some girls like sex! That's not a crime! Neither is it a crime for a girl to be submissive in bed. I was seeing a girl who loved to be submissive in bed, so much so that this song reminds me of her everytime I hear it. This girl was not easy or cheap either and was very much a lady.
Prudes will always be about and they hate anybody who enjoys sex so ignore them. Stop taking the lyrics so literally

  • Anonymous

Ii love rihanna's songs but this was my least favorite because she is pretty much talking. About have sex with a guy or a Rude boy

  • Anonymous

i think that rihanna's music is so amazing exspecially this song because it talks aboput her and the way she is with boys i like some boys.

if your christian or not you know most of people have sex before marriage so what its choice and not harm to others in any way and to your self if you are use protection

so if you smart you will know the bible says that because the people in the past when they have sex didn't use a condom or protection so maybe the kids will not know their parents so maybe that is the reason

but now the problem solved with the condoms so their no problem

and if your a boy and girl friend its the type like the marriage so what you just need to not make sex out your relationship that's of course if your fanatic Christan

RIHANNA IS REAL OK SHE CAN WHOOP CHRIS BROWN IN SING...AND DANCING I AM JST TELLIN U THAT IT IS TRUE SHE CAN ANYBODY IN SING???????????????? PEACE OUT!!!

  • Anonymous

I'm a Hungarian and I didn't understand she was singing. But now I read the lyrics and now I understand it.It's a bit sexually, but she didn't mean "hard sex" and the good melody is most important, not the lyrics...

  • Anonymous

I love this clip. It's so '70s. She's absolutely delicious mounting that horse. And so chubby, she is gorgeous.
This lyrics are great. They presume an autonomy that the females have not yet conquered in all spheres.
Here is the reason for the criticism. The song is ahead of its time, unfortunately.
Go Rihanna. I am one hundred percent with you.
    Thank you.

  • Anonymous

Really I like her voice...sexy. The rythm and voices are such matched completely. Nice...lol

  • Anonymous

LOVE it! for all of you haters, stop reading your own paranoia into EVERYTHING! Y'all need to clean up your perverted minds!! If Riri is into sex, then HOORAY! Better to be interested in difference than repressed into mediocracy! (like yourselves)
PS/ The video is HOT! HOT! HOT!

  • Anonymous

This song gave me a boner-maybe it's because America sucks.

I have to fill up this comment now by saying that I think that the army is gay-you have to be gay to always hang around with sweaty men. And I think that American football is just men hugging men. Fags.

  • Anonymous

Wow. When I was reading the lyrics to this song I couldn't help but notice that they had a lot of comments and I became interested and read some of them. I'm not going to lie, some of you people really need to get a life.

To those who claim they are Christians: Stop the judging. Isn't God's judgement the only one that matters? Obviously if you really followed the Lord you would be able to accept this song for what it is and stand firm in your Faith, so why is it that big of a deal? If you don't like, don't listen to it. It's just that simple.
To those who are upset about its "sexual content": Have you never heard of the phrase "freedom of expression?" It's one of America's strongest foundations. So if you can't deal with it, I suggest you don't live in America.
To those who think Rihanna has taken on a trashy image with this song and video: She is a very talented women. So why in the world should she try to conform into a "mold" that you see fit? This in no way degrades her, it shows a different side to her that the public had not yet seen. If you don't appreciate it, don't subject yourself to it. Again, it's just that simple.

If you have not heard of the expression "live and let live" I suggest you look into it. Rihanna is an artist making music, let her do her thing... and you do yours.

  • Anonymous

very aesome music, and I don't know why you relate this music with sex, that is meaningless

  • Anonymous

there is nothing wrong wit diz song ppl. if u think its bad then live wit it!! there is not 1 single bad word in diz song - so would u all bad mouth whisperers could juz zip it!! AWSOME SONG !!

  • Anonymous

All I can say is, whenever I hear this song, I think about SEX!! NO SH.T!! ahahahha

  • Anonymous

To Anonymous of June 7, 7.20. You are incorrect to say that all women feel like this when they're sexually attracted to someone. I'm a lesbian and the kind of sex I enjoy does not require me to cater to a man or submit myself to aggressive sex in order to please. Just saying.

  • Anonymous

All the retards saying "Males in rap do it all the time!" No they don&#039t you f..... retarded 16 year old girls.

Rappers don&#039t say, women needs huge tits, anything below d can get the f... out.

Maybe start thinking a little bit 16 year olds?

  • Anonymous

this song is good. but she already had a rude bot..remeber.... Chris Brown... and the way she sings this song is annoying. but not all her songs. shes very talented. she already had a rudeboy and that didnt go well, and now shes asking for a rudeboy... make up your mind... i still like her alot though,,, but this song didn't work out.

  • anonym

So funny what I read down here! This song is awesome, the lyrics are great... there is not a single bad word in it, 100ù suggestive!!

Come on Amercian parents! If your kids understand what this song is all about, it means they are already sexually educated!! your kid is big enough :-)) So don't panick he or she has heard much more bad stuff at school already. Rihanna doesn't say f**k me harder, she just says love me and I'll let you be the captain!

This song is just a bit provocative, and is directed against to Amerian macho man who thinks he's got a bog one!!! the truth is that 80% of American boys are pussies in bed or minute-men!
    ù
And I am pretty positive that most of the people taht left a negative feedback here are just as frustrated as a minute man can be!

Wake up ang get yourself some goodtime!

    European boy ;-)

  • Anonymous

such types songs should used only in western country its not good in eastern country i think the writer or the maker of this songs as well as video dont know that i some country people are not allowed to show their faces cannot come out of their home or talk with boys so in wy view i think such songs should not be played openly it might have negative feelings in young peoples life and sometime they not be able to control them so at last i would like to say is that they should be in limit

  • Anonymous

I dnt know where you all come from exactly I but can perfectly guess. This is all about culture. In Europe, lyrics are just a way of free speech, people can like or dislike them (or ignore them, which is better than complaining about their rudeness or triying to catch subliminal messages). Of course you have the right to say what you think, but we simply don't think as you do.
In America you can carry weapons (which means having the chance to kill someone!) but then you are shocked about a song which says exactly what all women feel when they're sexually attracted to a someone else (which is totally NATURAL!).
I just don't understand ur country.

  • Anonymous

To the person that left the message on June 4, I would like to let you know what you are doing is called conforming. You are taking the devils bait. He tells you that the world is doing it, why arent you? You have to be above the world.
I dont listen to music that blatantly promotes sex to our kids whether its from a man or woman. I am a man, and to use the excuse "Men do it all the time", doesnt mean a young lady has to conform to the same acts. She can be way above the garbage thats being put out there. What you dont get is that this song puts out sexual irresponsibility to the youth. I saw her perform this song on the Nickelodeon kids awards. Where else is this song being promoted? MTV? 106 & Park? All programs where kids are the #1 demographics. Look up the illuminati and rihanna and you will see how we are playing right into the devils hands.

  • Anonymous

Point blank, if u dont li it dont listen, I personally effin LOVE THIS SONG!!! Men r constantly making vulgar songs, but a woman does and she is attacked with bad feedback? Wtf is up with that? Sorry, man arent the only ones who can b horny, sexual, etc. I like how up front this song is, if u r a person that is actually in today's dating scene u would love the song, men walk around like they got what every woman wants, and the truth is when it comes to backing up all the rude talk, they aint packing sh*t... the song is just that, a song, and ppl should control what they are letting their kids listen to, but remember they probably hear worse from friends and tv shows. So if u think talkin down on music will solve everything, maybe u should check out the world we live in today, EVERYTHING has sexual content, so try boycotting everything.

  • Anonymous

I am disappointed that a beautiful and talented woman from the Caribbean has to degrade herself to such a state just to make money. She could have shown some class and self-respect by refusing to produce a song with such stupid and vulgar lyrics. I'm all about self expression and I realize that sexuality is nto something we need to be ashamed of. But the lyrics int his song are just plain nasty. But my biggest issue with this song is how Rihanna is not embarrassed to say "can you get it up" ... doesn she normally date guys who can't get it up? Hahahahahahhahahahhaahah!

  • Anonymous

I usually wouldn't leave a comment on these things but I read these and I think it's just a tad ridiculous. The song is a good song in my opinion, everyone has a right to their own and I respect that. However, if you don't like the song then why look up the lyrics? Why comment about how 'inappropriate' it is? Honestly, the fact that you took time out of your day to look up lyrics and comment on a song you "don't like" and thing is "disgusting" is proof that you need a hobby or a job.

  • mouseclicker77

Wow... At first I thought I was hearing this song wrong. When Rihanna first came out she was so cute, the type of girl to be sweet with--love respect and adore. But now after hearing her latest songs, including this pornaudiography I would gladly "pull" her mohawk hair while doing "boom boom boom just a little harder," but not as hard as Chris Brown. Sweet or Saucy Rihanna rocks!!

  • Anonymous

put it this way , my 3yr old has started singing it as it is played on the radio so much. We do not listen to mainstream radio stations now.! its wrong

Cigarettes are harmful. Although parents can teach their kids the destructiveness they cause, does that make it right for it to be advertised, encouraged and applauded for on TV or the radio? Think about that.

  • scrupulous

I don't know what this song does to a woman, but I can tell you that it makes a man's imagination play in HD! That is the problem. It's one thing to say "don't let you kid buy the CD if you don't agree" - I can handle saying "no". It's another to deal with when it's the current song on my radio station Come on - you all know why like the song - be real. It provides a teaching opportunity for me. As a dad, who grew up w/out a dad, that is my privilege. But one that I rather not have on the fly.

  • Anonymous

this song is wicked!!.....i guess all of u who are giving negative feedbacks are just new to these kind of songs.....it's more of a 'caribbean kind" kind of song....she is from the caribbean....obviously u all haven't been exposed to those type of music and videos like we are here in the caribbean....if u get a chance to search for any jamaican song/video...u'll notice that they are all similar....they all have something about "sex" in it....and it really is up to the person if he/she wants to listen to these type of songs!....it has nothing to do with being a "PORN SINGER"....so...Rihanna is just doing her thang! REPRESENT FI DI CARIBBEAN MY GYAL!...NUH WATCH NO FACE! BIG UP!

  • Anonymous

As long as the children are educated enough they should be able to understand what is right/wrong, and what sells and doesn't sell in the music industry. This obviously sells. Why? Because it is sexual.

Should kids do sexual acts at a very young age? no. Parents and teachers should be teaching their kids this and not blaming corporate institutions. Might as well teach them how the money system works they will be living in it some day.

  • Anonymous

Dear person below me... Thanks for what you said, i'm with you all the way... I'm a Gay Christian, and I believe it's wrong for people from our religion to force it upon others. And you're also right, if you don't like what the song says, then do listen to it, or be a responsible parent and observe the CD before you buy it for you kids!!!

It's just a song. Sure it's not a song for children- but that warning is clearly expressed in the title "Rated R". Songs do not force people to have sex. Oh, and just because YOU believe in the bible & god doesn't mean that everyone has to respect YOUR beliefs. Face it- not everyone shares your beliefs, and in America, we have that right. So, keep your bible thumping beliefs to yourself. If you don't like the song- don't listen to it. Plain & simple. Here's an idea: Why don't you go listen to some Christian radio station. Let people make the music THEY believe in & THEY want to make... it's not all about YOU! Oh, and if you were following the bible to the "t" then you wouldn't be judging others... hypocrites!

Rihanna is a pioneer. We.ve had singers that push the envelope and get flirtatious to sell themselves and we've had women sell themselves for sex. Rihanna has combined the two (Porn star and Singer)and has become the first porn singer.

I let my daughter listen to this song. She told me what it means, she guessed and she was right. Now when I go into her room I see her playing dolls and making them say Can you get it up. Is it big enough ? Its so cute, funny, and some times inappropiate.

Ew some of these comments are nastier than the song, lol. I think half of these need to chill, take a siesta; and the other half need to keeps their legs closed and do their homework. Rihanna isn't "supposed to be an influence on little kids", thats the stupidest thing I've read all day. Its up to the parents whether they exercise caution and discretion when it comes to adult entertainment. And such a "music industry" no longer exists, the man is scheming to get all YOU YOUNG GIRLS knocked up at an early age so you can live and die off of welfare, make Walmart lots of money, and generally repress womens' place in American society a few hundred years.

I like Rihanna's music but I'm not oblivious to her blatant lack of talent and her shallow songs, but it's what people want.People with real talent are never appreciated, look through the music world so far, Britney spears was a lip singing talentless pretty face and yet she sold more music than Christina Auguilera, Pink, Beyonce and so many other talented singers. How many of us have ever heard Paolo Nutini or Jason Mraz, Ne-Yo and all these extremely talented musicians win awards, yet Rihanna and her diabolical voice are winning. The music industry doesn't care much about music like it used to, no one is looking for singers and great song writers and musicians like they did before. Look back to when people like Etta James, Johnny Cash, Muddy Waters, Bod Dylan and Jimi Hendrix were getting huge record deals then look now, Kesha, Rihanna, T-Pain,Drake you have to be fucking kidding me. Those were musicians, those were artists, We have them today but no-one gives a shit while people like Rihanna who sell out concerts for talking instead of singing are over shadowing them!

Yeah go girl. Im 18 and I've done it ten times. I don't think it's bad to do it b4 you get married. Just make sure your man puts a condom in. BTW if you're gonna do it do oral sex too. It's great just suck it and suck it and suck it baby wooh. Yummy! Then he licks your thing and it feels so good baby. Try it sometime. The best combo is your sucking his thing he's squeezing your tits and hes making out with your face. Try it. It's amazing!!!!!!! O and also lick his butt hole. It's sexy. I video taped the first time i had sex. It's good t do that just make sure ur parents don't see it. hahaha. It's like cats you and your man have to clean each other.

i think this song isn't good. because it's mention about sex! i'm only 15 years and i'm virgin too... God wants to us to be honorable.. But this kind of music will take us down the wrong road. the Bible tell us it! and Jesus love honorable person...

The 14 year old girl needs to shutup. Keep your opinion to yourself, your 14 and starting shit online. So what if the song comes across sexual, you can like it and still not pertake in sexual activities. I&#039m a christian and I&#039ve had sex, it doesn&#039t make me a bad person so keep blabbing on. Its not necessary to talk shit on a song when the person singing is free to make her own decisions and has been through a lot this past year.. who are you to judge someone else especially when your 14 and don&#039t know what the hell your talking about. Grow up hun, stick w church. And for u guys waiting good for you but don&#039t sit there and judge people who have. I went to catholic school, I&#039ve learned all this but I&#039m the one who decides what I want to do along w others so shut the ^$%#@! up and let it go..

i love this song so u know she might not be singing about sex rude can mean a lot of different things

You people are ignorant. If you disagree with the song then don't listen to it. Easy as that. This isn't a matter of what's right or wrong. It's a matter of music expressing ONE persons particular thoughts. You are all being hypocrites judging her and saying the bible disagrees with what this song suggest. God doesn't judge so what gives you the right to? Think about that and next time keep your rude comments to yourself.

eww get it on with this song wow!!!!!! Its like hardcoreeee and i lovvveee it but dont let little kids listen too it! But great song to get a move on with whoever you want even boy or girl!

What and any are you talking about your sex life?
god nothing to do with Rihanna and her great and catching songs people

  • Anonymous

K... religious zealots... where in the song does she mention whether she's married, for one thing? Married people sing like they're single, so why can't single people sing like they're married? I'm not saying whether she's doing that, but you can quit assuming she's pushing pre-marital sex. Now go dance all creepy-like with your daddy at an abstinence ball, because your body belongs to him.

Besides, look in the Bible- Lot's daughters idiotically think the world has ended because one town went buh-bye, so they get him trashed and screw his brains out. They have incest babies who can call Lot Grandpa-Dad. Quit whining about this song if you think the Bible is fine and dandy.

However, I DID think it was a bit much to start playing it during the Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards- even if only a few lines. I wonder how many parents tensed up when Rihanna asked if her Rude Boy could get it up, and then told him to take it? lol

Im a 14 year old girl. my opinion is that pre-marital sex is wrong and i am still a virgin and am proud to be 1! ive been pressured by guys to have sex before, and i am sick and tired of being disrespected and labeled as a slut, just because im a girl. People have their own lives to live and their own choices to make. if rihanna wants to openly sing about sex, then let her. but just remember that we are examples to younger kids and if your a celebrity, then you are more of a greater influence on people then the common man. sex before marriage is wrong, the Bible says so. im not trying to be a "holier than thou" person, because im really not! im just voicing my opinion and speaking what is right. and just because some of us agree that this song is innapropriate, does not mean that we are old, and that we dont have fun, and that we are haters. yes i am a Christian, and i love the Lord with All of my heart. and being a teenage girl, im proud that im still a virgin, and of how far ive come in my life, how much ive accomplished, and I thank God for all that he has blessed me with. God loves everyone and wnts a relationship with you, but you have to take the first step. Listen to "Voice of Truth" by Casting Crowns. God Bless You All!!!!

lol well to all those people saying church people stop judging us.....im sorry that we r right....juss warning u guys....dont want to see u on the other side.......and i swear ppl r stupid....the person saying i dont believe in Jesus so duh u wont believe in waiting to have sex cuz u dont even know wut the bible says.....juss saying u guys have no evidence to support u.....the bible clearly says its a sin......but from you guys....its all opinions....i think this....i think that.......oh rly when do ur opinions rule over God's ?? well in the end that gets u nowhere....sorry its the truth i know u dont like to hear it but juss warning ya :)

I love this song.we all b**** about female artist expressing there fellings about sex and other stuff but yet barley anybody b****** about males rapping about drugs and sleeping with girl after girl, i feel she is expressing her feelings about sex in her relationship. me being a female i can admit i love having sex with my man and theres nothing wrong with that, im not going out and being a whore like alot of the male artist express is (cool) or whatever.. and for those of you that are gonna wait till marriage good for you it is the right thing to do but at the same time theres worse things out there and were always forgiving so stop hating. if u dont like the song u doont have to listen to it!!! i love u Rhianna your music rocks

It is definitely a catchy beat with some suggestive lyrics...so I guess I can see why there are those loving and hating the song. I mean if you look at it, the media's got some serious sway over the youth. I mean, from where I'm from, they're thinking of introducing sex ed. to kids in Grade 1 (like 6 or 7 year olds!). Nothing crazy of course, but the basics like appropiate names for body parts and the like. The only reason they do so is to inform kids at an earlier age before the media sweeps them into the sex-filled world that it is. I mean, some kids heard 50 Cent's "Candyshop" at 8 years old and starting questioning the 'lollipop'. That must've been the most awkward conversation of my life. :S And there are others, like Nelly's "Hot in Here", Addictiv's "Tonight", Akon's "Sexy Chick/Bitch". Of course I only speak from my own experience, and it does not apply to all young kids...but it is something to think about.

Don't get me wrong. I love this song, I love feeling like the empowered woman, knowing what I want from my man. But it's something that kids should stay away from. Don't make them grow up before their time...
And no, I don't tote holy water, ready to fling it at people who listen to music like this, but really, a little more media awareness, hell, a little more literacy amongst us would be great.

  • Anonymous

Guys come on, if you like it and don't mind the sexual content then listen to it, if you don't like it and don't approve then don't listen to it. It's really that simple, don't tell other people what to do or think, we all have our own opinions isn't that our personal right as a human? Belivers...stop TELLING the rest of the world to believe, we don't tell you not to!
As for the subject of the kids listening...turn the radio off!

  • Anonymous

The point is, you make the choice whether you want to have sex after marriage or not, that aside, i really dont care what anyone says, its unneccessary for this to be on the radio especially when kids are listening, i mean, do parents even get the chance to teach their own kids about this stuff before the media does? Sex isnt a bad thing when you choose to do it the right way, but theres a time for it all.

Ever since she got her ass beat by Chris Brown she has totally changed, she went completly EMO (ie. her hard song), and her songs are pointless...yeah they may be catchy sometimes..but the lyrics are pointless.. what ever happend to music standing for something? Music was about whats in your heart, not what you want in bed.
I know many of you are going to bash me. but you cant take back whats been said. it gets pretty old after a while.

JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE = RIHANNA'S RUDE BOY........................................................................................................................

  • Anonymous

It's interesting to note how both sides of this argument are attacking each other. Both sides seem to have merit, to be honest. Personally, sex before marriage (or not) is a personal choice. But, my question is, what does that have to do with this song? How do we know the narrator of this song isn't married? If you're going to analyze lyrics (essentially, poetry set to music), do it correctly. Don't think for one second that the life of the author or singer HAS to be related to the song.
The comments relating inappropriate spelling to sexual activity to premarital sex were particularly disturbing to me. I have a 3.86 (on a four-point scale) in college, and I'm an English major. Having monogamous sex with my boyfriend in no way causes me to forget how to spell. I also don't think that premarital sex is "slapping god in the face." This depends on your beliefs. Personally, I don't believe in Jesus-- why should I care what the Bible has to say about sex? Sex is a personal choice, and I respect the decisions of others to wait until marriage. I also respect the decision of mature, consenting adults to engage in sex before marriage.
And as for this song not being feminist, I'd say it's about an equal sexual relationship between a man and a woman. Both play an active role, and she's not afraid to ask-- demand, rather-- what she wants. In a sense, that's very feminist. Women deserve sexual pleasure, and should get it; they should be willing to demand it, too. This song is about a women taking control sexually, and asking for a man to command her sexually. The binary there is something that is needed to maintain a healthy sexual relationship. Sometime the man's in charge, sometimes it's the woman. Equality is central to basic feminist themes.
Of course, I'm sure people on both sides will disagree with me, their responses chock full of incorrect grammar.

I can't see why all the fuss, yes it's a bit racy, but what about previous songs that have been, eg George Micheals Outside, FGTH Relax, Maddona well you get the idea. I was not aware of the lyrics until a parent at my sons school mentioned them, and that she had heard her 8 yr old daughter singing them, and was amused. It's only a big deal if enough people make it one...

NOBODY cares. not everybody is religious and not everybody believes what you believe so keep your mouths shut and quit shoving your opinion down everybody else&#039s throats and follow your own advice. quit being a bible thumper. I'm sorry to ever may not agree but if you clearly listen to the lyrics, you know they are talking about sex. And yes sex before marriage is wrong. If you don't think so, then shutup and go do it. You can't get mad at people because they are setting standards for themselves and voicing their opinion. If you can sit on this stupid website and argue back and forth about something that we all know is wrong, then you're the stupid one. Give it up. And NO thats not acting holier than though, Its called using you're brain and applying it to your life and doing whats right. Im a 15 year old girl and I have enough sense to see that this song is wrong and sex before marriage is wrong. As you see below, the comment from the 10 year old states that she even know what it means. And she thinks its wrong. Just build a bridge and get over it. And then do the right thing.

Its interesting, and quite telling, that only one or maybe two of the posts in support of this song was typed using good grammar and proper spelling. Yet most (not all) of the posts from people who object to it use the language well, and don't type things like "and if yooh dont well then yooh should listen carfull and this song and her otherszzz" or "just get over ur fat unattractive lifes".
Come on, folks. This blatently illustrates which is the opinion of intelligent folks who can think for themselves, and which is the opinion of ignorant people who let the media do the thinking.
That being said, I don't think the point is that listening to this song will put a spell on kids and make them go have sex. The point is that this song, and everything else that has been pushed to the limit in the American (garbage) society takes something as serious and private as sex and makes it seem a non-chalant and casual pastime.
The real problem here is that the desenitization of our young people due to things like this in the media has led to the state of moral decay that our nation is in now.
Congratulations kids. Keep listening to "pimp" music like this. It makes you a real classy person. By the way, I used the word "pimp" to mean "cool", but what is a pimp, exactly? Ever thought about it? A pimp is a slave owner who uses women to make money, and then rapes and beats them when they don't bring home enough money, or sometimes just because he feels like it. That's pretty "cool", right?
    Good work, America!

This song is really good and I love it. No I'm not a virgin and no this doesn't have any impact on me at all. This is just a song people wake up. And everyone does sex anyways so just drop it and stop hating on the song! Rihanna you rock girl I love your songs I love you I'm a big fan!

Lmao, i think the best translation of this song is in this youtube video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v....

But, Whatever, honestly, it's a trashy song, but sex always sells. Why? because no one has the guts to actually DO something about the lack of morals in our society. We'd all rather sit around and complain about it. I'm 16, and this song isn't going to make me go out and do this stuff. C'mon now. But i'm by no means saying that music doesn't inlfuence our actions. Music can inspire, sadden, or even make someone laugh.

The point is, Rihanna wouldn't put out music like this if it wasn't going to Sell. Parents, it's your problem if your kids are listening to this stuff, and if you don't like it, Do something about it! Last time I checked, parents control their children, not the other way around.

But nowadays, parents are cowards. They want to be the "best friend" because they don't have the courage to step up, discipline, and really be there for their kids. They'd rather take the easy way out. So yeah, haha, i think i'm done ranting.

Uh, I'm feminist, and NO this is not feminist. What the hell? Rude boy? I think I prefer NOT to be mistreated. And I would think after the Chris Brown incident, she would too. And about sex and is he big enough, you know what, just overall this song sucks. For those who think this is a stand for woman, it's not. This is totally unoriginal and there are thousands songs like it. How could this be standing up for women? She wants to be treated as an object.

I am a 55 year old mother and grandmother. For those parents that are complaining about the song, if you have brought your kids up to have respect for themselves and others and they understand the birds and bees!! why do you feel the song is offensive,we all know what can and does go on in the bedroom, unless those complaining have'nt been fortunate enough to experience it!! For god sake people, its a song about real life. Sex is supposed to be a wonderful thing why treat it like its a dirty word. Our kids are going to do it anyway regardless of a song, thats life. My advise to you parents who find the song offensive is to drop the holyer than thou attitude and go and have some real horny sex, you just might enjoy it and then perhaps wonder what all the fuss was about!

this song isnt about sex, well it is abit but its mostly about free mason, "Tonight imma let you be the captain" "Tonight imma let yooh take me higher" annd theres more. like think about it, its saying imma let yooh be the captain as in free mason being the captin, and imma let yooh tak me higer as in like tak me higer into free mason devil sh*tt. and if yooh dont well then yooh should listen carfull and this song and her otherszzz

Her album is called r rated or rated r for a reason, because songs like this are on it. This song is harmless and i hardly think that anyone who hasnt been previously educated about sex really knows the "underlying" meaning of it, anyone who has clearly wouldnt make life choices based on lyrics in a song. Rihanna is a popstar and her catchy beats appeal to children while her lyrics appeal to a more mature audience.

You ll have to pardon me if my conclusion is off, for i m easily confounded by the artful subtleties in some modern music lyrics, but the song "Rude Boy" is about erectile dysfunction is it not? If so I look forward to the follow-up song "heart-throb girl" which undoubtedly will be about angina, which im sure these skilled songsmiths can find many rhyming opportunites. Till then good day

I think that people should have the right to listen to pornographic music if they so choose but what about the rights of those who choose not to do so? We don't get a choice, it's just forced upon us everytime we turn on the radio. Sure we can choose other stations but then that takes away our right to listen to what WE want. In addition, everytime we go into a place of business or anywhere else a radio is playing we again are stripped of our right to choose. This type of thing should NOT be aired to the public the way that it is. Buy it on a CD or MP3 and listen to it all you want but take it off the air and give us parents our rights back. I believe Rihanna is talented but I'm saddened to see that they have lessened her talent and turned it into this.

It's not a song about sex, it's a song about FILTH!
A song about love making I can handle, but 'Pulling hair' and 'going for a ride' that's like describing a porno and they are rated R or even X
So yeah, by all means sing about sex, but degrading porn should be cut out of the song

  • Anonymous

I have to wonder if the people who are against sex are against blatant displays of violence? Sex is not a bad thing. All of us are here because of it. Well, there are some exceptions; if you believe the bible, the most notable being Jesus. Remember him? The one who asked that we not judge? Asked who would be the first to throw a stone? I'm bettin' you don't want to remember. And children who are raised with morals will just enjoy this montage for what it is: fun.

Rihanna becomes increasingly iconic...like the greats before her. Get over it and go have some hot sex. It'll probably do ya some good.

And anyone who can't catch the tongue-in-cheek tone of the video is just a simpleton.

Anyway in any case everything is lost on them.

Ok so few are talking about being straight and don't be hypocrite but listening to this song is nothing more than having sex in front of Mom and DAD .. this is where American are heading.. if that is cool for them then I have no objection with song.. otherwise majority of comments says what I say!

Not at all suitable for children.. it will again stuff their mind with nothing but with longer lasting and big tool sex !

what a joke. Sex isnt a bad thing, but its what society has turned it into. Its no longer something that 2 married people do but what everyone thinks it is. its what girls think they have to do be accepted or loved and its inaccurate so dont say that teenagers are having sex young because we dont talk about it enough, its because its just a random thing that everyone does now of all ages and songs like these contribute to it.

Let's not delude ourselves: this song has indeed caused thousands of youth to have sex. There are some who listen to the song who won't act on it, but there are some who will. But it's not the only degrading song of this type, as other commenters have pointed out. Society is supersaturated with this filth.

Personally, I'm all in favor of the State censoring the airplay, promotion, and sale of filth like this, particularly to the young. Who would've dreamed 50 years ago (or 20 years ago) of radio airing songs this explicit? My opinion won't be popular in Western democracies, but once you allow the concept of totally uncensored "free speech" then that ultimately means anything goes, and the whole morality of society eventually dissolves into a cesspool (this is the cesspool stage that we're now in).

To me, it's actually better to be lyrically (and often comically) hardcore like Eminem is. Em's lyrics are not intended to be a seductive turn-on: most of them are comical, some are serious about life problems, but they are not encouraging young people to have sex. It's much worse in my mind to be like Ri and to market this to young people--often very young people-- to make money.

On the other hand, the main blame always rests with the parents, with any issue regarding children. Parents' money is the only way kids get cell phones, ipods, cds, clothes, tv's, or anything else. Therefore, if you don't like the clothes your kids are wearing, if you don't like the music they're listening to, if you don't like that they're texting or what they're texting... well, you're the parent, quit buying them all this stuff.

LOL . Seeing all these hate comments makes me laugh . People this song was NOT written by Rihanna , It was written by an Aussie person . They even said it on the radio . Rihanna was the one who got to sing the song , and when she did , it made it to TOP of the charts because 1 , its catchy , 2 , LOADS of people are listening to it and buying this song , and 3 , yes the lyrics are just great ! Even if it is about sex , there are other songs out there about love , kissing , hotness and bla bla bla . When this song came out huge , the person who wrote it got loads of money as well as Rihanna ! So you should be thanking her that she did a favor for for this guy . Oh and if you parent's don't want your children to go around singing the lyrics , just don't let them F***N hear it ! Simple as that . There are loads of songs out there , have i heard EVERY SINGLE one of them ? Ahaha NO , don't think so . So simple as not letting them listen to it =) Love you Ri Ri

I myself as a teenager like this song, but what i find ridiculous is that this song was sung by Rihanna at the Kids Choice Awards! I mean seriously, what do you think the parents thought of that. A lady singing about sex to kids..that is not the right thing to do at all. Maybe if the audience were like at the MTV Awards but not for little kids. I mean come on there are kids that are 5 years old there if not younger. I have a sister that is nine years old and she was playing this song on Youtube, and now she knows all the words..she even knows what its about!

As a kid of 11, I personally dont like Rihanna...her songs are ok but with bad meanings...I really wish people would go and listen to people like Josh Groban and maybe those instrumentals...sorry to those people who like Rihanna... but I'm on the parent's side on this one...

  • Anonymous

This song kinda sorta sucks. Sure, good beat, good tune - but these lyrics are the reason that all wanna-be recording artists think they can be super-stars. Apparently the notion of good lyrics is lost on so many artists. Not to mention that this particular song does absolutely nothing for Rihanna's social/relationship problems and image. Poor choice on her part.

  • Anonymous

As a mum I would hate if my son came back home singing it out loud. The lyrics are not appropiate for everybody to listen to.
Well it is one of Rihana's song. Can else can we expect from a singer liked her ?? She is not one who children should be looking up to.

PEOPLE OF THE WORLD LISTEN UP! this song is great but it is really naughty. riri you didn't go very far inspiration i must say. great beat

Too be honest if you look at it this way all songs are about boys girls sex just name it and its in the lyrics it has happened for years generations thats just life whateva the song is about that we help make it reach to number one by listening to it,downloading it and buying it so you shouldnt really compaine. In this world people do anything for money artist want to make there music heard its just there jobs if you were a artist knowing you could make thousands for that song wouldnt you want it to be heard ??. I love this songg its my favouite from rihanna whats shes saying doesnt mean that im stupid enough to go and do it and im a teenager 14yrs my parents tought me better than thats

Yes! Media is a part of what kids learn, BUT if the parents are doing a good job at home, there should be no worry of what their child sees or hears. Im a parent of 3 awesome kids. I listen to and watch TV WITH my kids. I have conversations with my kids about many different topics. They know and understand that they are to do what THEY want to do. NOT what some kid down the road says, or the tv, or even a damn song. My children all know that I am their mother first, friend second. But I cut up and play around with my children and their friends. Cuz most of them cant do that with their parents.
DONT blame the media for teaching your children what they should already understand AT HOME!

Are you f**** kidding me? Its a great song that proudly shows how DISGUSTING SICKENING NAUSEATING REPULSIVE HORRIBLE AWFUL TERRIBLE STOMACK-TURNING HIDEOUS DIRTY DISTASTEFUL..... the singer's morals are! :) Really great work making public what's supposed to be so private! I wonder if such a song is adressed to humans or animals since animals surely do not the problem to go public in such behavior!!! Great song Rihanna, keep up the good work b**** girl! :) It didn't even turn my dog on! Take care qand keep disgusting us! ;)

hey! to all those party poopers you really need to just get over the fact that this song is about this because most songs are based on this (aren't they). i think if you just keep on studing this song you are just going to get more worked up over it so, stop studing this song and get on with your lives.by the way i love the beat of this song.

  • Anonymous

I really like this song. It's got a great beat! But let's not deny that the song is very obviously about sex. It's got a lot of analogies and characteristics of things people do during sex (ie. pulling hair, riding, ect). She even asks how he would get IT up and if he is BIG enough. It's clearly about sex, and it's not me being sick minded either. There's no need to deny it just because some of you are annoyed at the complaining concerned parents.

  • Anonymous

I don't disagree that there is a media influence. It is difficult to shelter your kids from everything that you deem inapropriate. I agree that it would be easier to just discard the garbage, however it is out there. That's the reality of things. Therefore it is the parents' job to take an active role in their child's life anrd to continually talk to them about the values that you want to instill in them. Stop working for material things that doesn't mean anything and take time to be with your children, to know them, and to train them.

  • Anonymous

Wow, I love how everybody is saying it's 'vague' and 'indirect.' Try reading the lyrics again. It's pretty straight-forward. The song actually talks about nothing more than "take it, take it." The whole reason I looked up these lyrics was to really see if it was as obvious as I was thinking it was. All of you who say that music does not affect what you think, learn to stay in school. Try listening to a little more TobyMac or Lecrae, and less "riri" and 50 cent. You are what you eat, and I have the testimony to prove it. Phail, epic.

Wow, I only came on this website because I was writing an essay for my English class on music and was trying to show how profane lyrics are now. I was absolutely blown away by how terrible, inappropriate and uncreative these lyrics are. How is this possibly number one on the charts?

  • Anonymous

I&#039m sorry, but this song does not S__K because of the lyrics or what it is about. This song S__KS because, it S__KS. The only reason any of us know it or care about it is because Rihanna paid like a billion dollers to have it played on the radio every 2 minutes. And if you are too d_mb to know, to get a song on the radio, you have to PAY. She obviously paid A LOT. I like other rihanna songs, but ever since the first time I heard this one, I thought it was annoying, mindless, and only catchy because it is played every other minute of every day on the radio. Even when rihanna tries to be "dirty" she s__ks at it. I think the image she is aiming for now is fake, corporate, and repetitive. Give us something NEW ----! This song is SH_T.

Wow all of you are mentally retarded. I have been listening to this type of music since I was 9 years old. I've never had sex in my life, not even close. Damn it, I haven't even had my first kiss yet because I haven't found the right person. I listen to this type of music more then the average person I bet. I listen to Eminem who says fuck every sentence but my values have not changed! I plan to wait for marriage and that hasn't changed. It all depends on the person, if parents raise them to be weak then yes the music will affect them because of your poor parenting skills. And I mean if it wasn't music that changed your kid, it would have been something else like television. Peer pressure at school or the internet. Or maybe just a boy pressuring your kid, and we all know this happens ALL the time. Dont blame music.

  • Anonymous

I dont think its a bad song. It is a little dirty but thats life, there is plenty of songs and always has been thats filled with sexual induendo. Any one rember that all classic "when I think about you I touch myself"? No-one actually likes this song for the lyrics, its because its catchy and got a good beat. Its not exactly a poetic or heartfelt song. Infact everyone is say well done Ri-ri great song.... Why not well done to the 7 songwriters (how does it take 7 people to come up with this???) or even more importantly well done to the producers who made the actuall music and beats that make this song good. All Rhianna does is provide the vocals and the face behind the song. I'm not the biggest fan of pop music but I do like Rhianna, at least she can sing. Look at Britney!!! What a joke.

  • Anonymous

Ok people, it's time to stop complaining about songs that aren't directly pointed to sex and other things. If you think this is the only song look at: Blame It- Jamie Foxx, Best I Ever Had - Drake, Bedrock - Young Money, How Low - Ludacris, and more.

  • Anonymous

At the end of the day its only a song. Most of you should grow up! Can't see anything wrong with the song or lyrics. Maybe a 100 years ago it would be banned however its now 2010.

omg there are so many more songs that are worse than this one! havent u ever heard eminem? I'm a menace, a dentist, an oral hygienist
Open your mouth for about four or five minutes
*Take a little bit of this fluoride rinse
Swish but don't spit it, swallow and I'll finish*
seriously it can be so much worse so quit b****in kids are gunna listen and do what they want! the more u try to isolate them the worse they will be just trust that youve instilled good morals and they'll be fine

heyyy.. I had no idea that this song was about having sex or something until i read this comments!I agree this song might be a lil erotic one.. but there r many more things which r exposing teenagers to sex.

And someone raised a point about lil wanye's lollipop song.. i TOTALLY agree with them!
I personally LOVE the song it's TOO catchy! ;)

  • Anonymous

it is so funny if there was 1 swear word in this song they would have bleeped the 1 word out on the radio. Who cares that the whole song is sexually orientated. You can sing a song on the radio about pornografic sex as long you don't use any profanity. Don't get me wrong its a fun song I just think it is so funny!

i love this song!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i be singing this songt o mah man all the time and it be turning him onnnn...... keep it up...yu FINE gurl.....

    CONCERNED PARENTS:
It's up to parents to parent and protect their children, not the media or the entertainment industry. If you are really as concerned as you say you are and you aren't just using this song as an opportunity to complain about something, take a more active role in your child's life. If you don't like whats on the radio, change the station. If they are hearing it on the bus, speak to the bus driver about your concerns. If they are hearing it at a friend's house, maybe you should be a little more careful about the kind of households they hang out in. You are ultimately responsible, don't blame others for your parental inadequacy

  • Anonymous

If all you can think about is sex when it comes to this song you are sick minded, and you seriously need help. IF a teenager is wanting to have sex it is their life, they learn from their own mistakes yes it better to wait till you are married and have found the right one but you cant choose someone elses life for them.

  • Anonymous

No teen pregnancy is a result of a lack of communication between parents and children. Sex is not some new disease that we need to guard our children from. Sex is a natural human function and its not like sheltering your kids from it will somehow cause their sex organs to go dormant. If you think your going to change the world by forcing your views on other people in a forum then your a m^r^n. Do everyone a favor and keep your uber-conservative views to yourself, no one cares...

    Oh and good song!

I honestly think its a great song..she is starting to get back to her island side...but for some of you to judge the song about it being about sex and for young people not to listen to it...if that is the case what about lil wayne's lollipop..lol yeah no one thinks about that becase lil wayne is the "greatest rapper alive" ahahaaha and he teaches kids that its ok for them to lick the wrapper?

  • Anonymous

great songs, i like the melody of this song, and if u really wanna see some rated R, hop over to http://3xblueray.com :)

  • Anonymous

This needs to change hey. Say what you want but its just so hard to try bring kids up when theres songs like these. i only found out today what the song meant and thats pretty sad. Sure you cant blame a song for the choices that you make, their your own choices yeah? but the media sure as heck contributes. You can say just turn the radio off if the song comes on but it would just be so much easier if it wasnt there in the first place. Im sick of it ay, and everyone wonders why theres so much rape and pregnancies at the age of like 12? You cant blame the media completely, my point is though, it definitely contributes..

  • Anonymous

I think you people are missing the point!!!! Yes, young teens are watching porn these days days from the age of 12 so it must be ok right...WRONG.... did any of you stop to think that maybe they are being exposed to it so early that they know of it earlier therefore are having sex earlier leading to teenage pregnancy... wait of course not, why would you think of that?!?

LOOK at the 13 yo that admitted to having sex with her boyfriend. (Posted March 24, 2010 12:32) She is saying it is by choice... obviously it is by choice but you tell me where you learnt about sex? Tell me, was it your parents that told you about it, school or did you just see it on TV or hear songs like that on the radio? If young teens didn't know about it why would they do it?

BUT this is a long debate as you can't block everything children see or hear.

DONT GET ME WRONG....Basically I thought Riri had more CLASS than that and her writers could have done a much better job as the beat for that song is great but lyrics are

  • Anonymous

I love this song, and for those who want to try and say that this song isn't great for the young ones, it probably isn't, but I was 9 when I was listening to stuff like Boom Boom Boom by the Outhere Brothers. Was one of my favs. Had no idea what it what about and only just found out how dirty those lyrics are - so much worse that this song. Anyways, I turned out pretty normal...ish...

  • Anonymous

seriously u id*ots need to get a life... noone would knw she was talkin about sex until u analyze the lyrics..so a 10 year old would wont hear "get it up" and think about that sexual aspect of it.so really ur arguments are not valid.and the person who thought about rape.. no comment to u! u need to reevaluate how u listen to music seriously..
the song could mean number of things.. urgh i hate reading wat ignorant people have to say.pisses me off

This is a statement I would like to make:

This is 2010. Does that make it right that we are surrounded by "sex sells"? Probably not. But it is a modern area. I highly doubt this song is intended for 16 year olds to go around and have sex with anyone and everyone. I'm pretty sure they will do that on their own, from seeing friends or other people in their life doing it. I highly doubt Rihanna is the poster child for underage sex. Puh-lease. A lot of the times people like songs because of the beat and melody.

If you are concerned about children growing up listening to this stuff, then grow up and be a parent and put a stop to it.

It's in the first ammendment, freedom of speech. This girl has her freedom to say what the hell she wants to say.

You don't have to agree with it, but you can turn the radio station or not listen to it. Life is full of choices, so make the choice to not come on to websites and ridicule other people for expressing themselves how they want.

Mind your business. Don't try to be a hero.

  • Anonymous

  • Anonymous

I LOVE her voice but gotta say poor taste is what this song is. It&#039s catchy and that&#039s all it is. It&#039s a dirty song for a cheap whore to sing it to her customer. For people concerned about their kids, I have a 10 year old and she gets it all but I dont let her listen to these songs as much as I can if she hears it on some kid&#039s iPod at school I have no control over it but I try. This world is getting more and more messed up. You dont have to walk around in underwear and stick your a*s out or sing about how big your thing is to be sexy. Being sexy can be done with class. Sad to see ppl are going lower and lower as years go by.

  • Anonymous

heeey, for the person up the top with the sex comment?
You need a root.. Teenagers can choose to have sex when they wanna its Only Sex MY ^@$#%^ GOD!!.
I always root my boyfriend .. im 13 years and my namess brittney.
So go ^@$#%^ youself i hate people like that SEX its not anyones Choice but youself

  • Anonymous

I think it's sad. You've hit rock bottom when all you can do to advance your career is sing about sex. It's not right. What is this world come to? And everyone out there saying that everyone already knows about sex and what not, don't make this out as a joke, this is serious. Sure, just by listening to the song a couple times won't make you want to have sex, but in today's world where EVERYTHING revolving growing teenagers is about sex, it's hard not to get it out of your mind, and this song isn't helping. And you guys supporting the meaning of this song are just sad products of today's world. *sigh*

LMAO - you people are hilarious...like the song or don't like the song...who cares?!? I was under the impression that we were all entitled to our own opinions. There are those who post if someone likes the song they are "stupid" "uneducated" "supporting rape" "exposing children to bad things" and then there are those who think if someone does not like the song they are "ignorant" or "disrespectful of carribean artists" or whatever...really people?!?!? All of you need to get over yourselves and your "opinionated comments"! It's a friggin' SONG for crying out loud...if you like it then listen to it, rock out to it and ENJOY it, if you don't like it, then JUST DON'T LISTEN TO IT!!!! Man, I'd hate to see the comments if this was some sort of political forum discussing actual topics of relevance to society....

I must say fantastic song, I was a bit disappointed by video, but song is my new favourit. As to the persons comment below me said if your kids are getting meanings like this out of songs why are you playing it to them. I know this songs lyrics off the top of my head mainly cause they are addictive and do not remember rape being mentioned even once, there is not even any vague references to force. There is a bit about rough sex, but you would need to know what that was before you could understand it. In response to an earlier comment what 8 year old has working equipment enough to facilitate this behaviour??? and the knowledgment, something wrong if your child is aware of this and you know they are and you havent thought them boundries and responsibilites

Wow. Actually, a "rube boy" is an avid listener of ska music. A lot of "trendy" listeners aren't going to understand this song at all. The video brings in other genres of music not just trendy rap or r&b. The lyrics inlude references to Bob Marley, his religion, which automaically includes smoking weed. It's a disgrace that you all are singing it without knowing anything about what it actually leads to.

this is a a really good song and will go very far.
she has a great future for her.
    ^@%#$ boys are rude.
and just want what they want.
and i think this song shows a great idea
    of what boys are like.
    but..
everyone doesnt mind a little bit of love making in once a while.
    even girls.
    :)
    :0
    hahahhahahahhahha.

People act like Rihanna's the only one that sings about sex. If you don't want your kids listening to it, don't let them. Don't like the song? Don't listen to it. Remove the radio from your car. The people who say this song is offensive or embarrassing to women need to grow up and get over the fact that people sing about sex. Almost every artist has a song about it. I'm a female, I'm not embarrassed nor do I feel offended. I think this song is AMAZING. :) :) :) :)

look people i am a 12 year old girl here ok. RHIANNA IS AMAZING AND HAS BEEN THROUGH A HELL OF A LOT IN HER LIFE WITH CHRIS BROWN ETC. please! THIS SONG IS AMAZING ALONG WIHT OTHERS SUCH AS "RUSSIAN ROULLETTE, UMBRELLA AND MANY OTHERS" SHE IS AMAZING! if you dont want your children listening to this song then wrap them in cotton wool but when they're at school...well you poor soul.. you should home school them as well.. school playgrounds are lovely places where this topic is freely discussed and giggled at! YEP even PRIMARY school! So PLEASE give her a break. FYI she is a gr8 person and an immense singer ok. My 10 year old bro knows the meaning of this song and my 4 YEAR old bro listens to it but doesnt understand it he just sings it along with me sumtimes YET he knows what "snogging" etc is... THIS IS 2010 not the 1800's! every1 knows all this sorta stuff and i noted many people said "if a 12 year old listens..." so here.. straight from the horses mouth(or a 12 year olds...:P) We learn this stuff at school, year 6 learn about sex and yer they pass it onto the younger ones, year 7 and 8 learn MORE of it, yr 9 and up kids r doing it(YER THEY AINT SUPPOSED TO BUT IT HAPPENS!) you cannot prevent it! this is a harmless song and not the only sex related one. LOOK AT MOST SONGS! looked? YEAH THEY MOSTLY INVOLVE SEX IN ONE WAY OR ANOTHER! some people are sad saying things about rihanna and this song. WHY ARE YOU LOOKING AT THE LYRICS IF YOU DONT LIKE IT? thanks. LUV YA RIHANNA! XXXX

Rihanna Performing "Rude Boy" - I believe that this performance is a representation of Genesis 6:4

I believe that this performance is a representation of Genesis 6:4 (The Nephilim [the fallen ones] were on the earth in those days—and also afterward—when the sons of God [angels - in this case the fallen angels] went to the daughters of men and had children by them. They were the heroes of old, men of renown).

The ugly robots represent the fallen angels who want to have sex with the human woman, Rihanna.

ahhhaa this is a great songg...soo what if it has sexual words in it...its a song. "is u big enough" "can u get it up"? who really cares. she is obviously expressing her sexual side on this hit, and i mean its better then her not making any music at all.. it rihanna...she's random! get over it ppl

  • Anonymous

dis song is banging and if understand the meaning of the song u might see it in a different way but people straight away fink of it as if it is a dirty song. she is talkin about her personal feelings.

  • Anonymous

o yea! Hitler thought free speech was awesome too. So obviously "FREE SPEECH" is not a good argument.

  • Anonymous

    SEX=MONEY
it's as simple as that. Shes just a sell out like everyone else. lol

  • Anonymous

i think she&#039s gr8 and jst expressing her self .. And hot too %@#$^ anyway Chris brown sux.. i srsly hate hiimm

  • Anonymous

I think all the people who are commenting saying that the song is disgusting, are obviously lacking sexual activity in their lives. If you dont want your children listening to music like this, then prohibit them from listening to it. Come on now people. Its not like your kids will never have sex, times have changed and young adults and teens are getting in contact with their sexuality at young ages now.And NO songs like this do not cause teen pregnancies. MAybe if those teens decided to be smart and use condoms or birt control they wouldnt be pregnant.

this song is freaking great!!! I just feel like dancing and celebrating whenever I hear it!

Maybe you should stop and think. Media promotes sex so much that one song, like this is highly going to make a difference! I highly doubt a twelve year old hasnt heard about sex before? Sorry to break it to you but even kids as young as 10 know what sex is now. Rhianna dosnt sing the lyrics, SEX SEX SEX now does she? So younger kids who sing it, are singing it purely for the tune, not because they know what it is or want to go and have sex. Good job Rhianna! Obviosly if people were smart enough, theyd realise maybe your album is named 'Rated R' for a reason. Love this song. Good job :)

  • Anonymous

Rihanna isn't underage, and just because some teens, or kids like her music doesn't mean she needs to cater to them. She's an adult and makes music for adults. It's not like they are promoting her on disney and she has a show on there. Parents need to regulate what there children listen to/watch on tv. That said.. I like the song, it's catchy like most of her music, and I enjoy it.

  • Anonymous

The Song is great, really catchy and fun.
I would have no problem with my kids listening to it because they wouldn't even know what the lyrics mean, And even if they did figure it out, Who Cares? Its a song. Like A few other people mentioned, Its no worse than anything else out there---Just enjoy it :)

  • Anonymous

Honestly, if you don't like it, don't listen to it. There's definitely worse songs out there, so why are you at this site if you don't like it?Everyone has their own tastes in music, and if a 12 year old is listening to it, then it's their parents' responsibilities that they're allowing them to surf the web or listen to the radio. We have freedom of speech, and it's foolish to have censorship in music. If it's not appropriate, don't let them listen to it. Period. And you yourself, shut your narrow minded mouths.

  • Anonymous

LOL. These songs don't cause teenage pregnancies... well depending if those people are stupid or not. haha. I like it cuz the beat is hot

  • Anonymous

Well I like the song, the words are great lol. And anyway, I&#039m totally sick of people censoring songs, I like the explicit versions! Why do they censor words like sh&#039t in videos??? So annoying

  • Anonymous

ii love diis song soooooooo much

  • Anonymous

yes its about sex. but its deeper than that too. like questioning people like chris brown, to see if theyre actually 'big enough' to not be wetmans hitting women to pretend they're 'big enough'

  • Anonymous

Actually a lot of Rhianna's songs are about sex, but they were all metaphorical....like shut-up and drive. You'd have to be an idiot if you couldn't tell she was talking about sex in that song! But I think this is the first one that's not in symbolism. But its really not as bad as all the other songs out there

  • Anonymous

    wow....da song is g8 n da video is 2 hot!!rihanna.....she''''''''''''s all out...ready to explode!!way 2 go....

  • Anonymous

get the ^#%$@ over it all you wingers. rihanna is hot and so is all her music :)

I beleive songwriting is a way of expressing your thoughts and feelings, a way to lift off anything that might suppress any weight from your heart and mind into the words that you think best describes that. Rihanna, like so many others, is a songwriter and artist, and like so many others, has thoughts and feelings from experiences that she might want to suppress. My point here is, Her songs, namely rude boy, is one of many that has been written to reflect said thoughts and feelings. It just so happens shes a famous artist and has made this song popular. My young sister is 12 years old and sings this song all the time. Now my first impression was, she's too young to know about this stuff...but then I realised, she already knows about it...thats what kids do, they laugh and giggle about it. As long as she stays innocent enough to just sing it as a song, and not try to understand the meaning, I think it can be an enjoyable song right from child to adult. So I think that people really shouldnt worry about the message in this song so much and enjoy it more, because at the end of the day, everyone could use a little fun! :D

  • Anonymous

people who comment on this page need to learn how to spell and write, lol. It's just a song people! About sex or not, who cares, whatever happened to free speech! Rihanna is a woman who probably enjoys sex just like every other woman out there her age. Get over it. I love this song, if you dont like it or dont approve then dont listen to it, your choice to not listen is the same as her choice to make the music she wants to!

  • Anonymous

i think this sony is the bomb mahn i downloaded it on my fone and i love this sh&#039t

  • Anonymous

I think that people saying that this song is unappropiate are redictulous because most songs released these days are about sex, and this song is a catchy tune for young children and about sex for older children/teenagers. I really don't see the problem, there are deffiantly worse songs out at the minute, and the people who say rubbish about this song need to be more worried about there children running riot and becoming criminals than singing a song about sex.

Can I just say, I really like this song, doesnt matter that Rihanna sang it. How does singing a song make you a slag? seriously people get a grip, thats like saying if Eminem sang a song about love, angels , etc then hes suddenly turned into a saint!! Shes a good artist and who ever put that comment about getting her heart broken has changed her, she didnt just get her heart broken she got her face smashed in by someone she cared about. Your a different person after that happens. Anyways, relax peeps and enjoy the bloody song, its ace!! haha x

i love ths song rude oy because its so rihanna and i think it was because of chris brown she sang this song

omg some of your comments r insane! theres sex in most lyrics these days aint a bad thing. as for her change in style of music theres nothing wrong with the change its still R&B. great tune give us more rihanna!

  • Anonymous

sounds so beyonce or maybe beyonce rejected this song and give it to her.. anyway, it works! i like it!

  • Anonymous

Awesome song! Obviously the song isn't intended for 10 year olds, this is Rihanna... Not Hannah Montanna

  • Anonymous

I love the beat but the lyrics are pretty bad, i mean, yeah younger kids know what this means now, but what about the even younger kids? I mean, soon kids at the age of 2 are gonna know. We should stop now. I know its not the singers fault, the writers could write stuff a little bit more appropriate. Maybe love, not sex.

    Great beat, crap lyrics.
Rihanna, like your old image better, but you be who you wanna be, you dont have to be submissive.

    ILY; Aaaanikkaaa :)

well just take this song lightly and feel it ..
    lolzz
i just simply love rihanna !!!

  • Anonymous

wow chill out everyone its only a song, it is clearly not aimed at chris brown dont think Rihanna is that sad, plus she isnt a song writer, where as chris brown is so his song is more likely about her. The song is really good, and as for 10 year olds listening to it there going to learn sometime right? unless of course they are cottonwool children. Yes its about sex and its damn right dirty :D, haha and as for the love making comment you cant tell me you havnt had sex like as you put an 'animal' if you havnt then you really need to try it! ;).

This song is an inspiration to have long hard wild animal sex lol

  • Anonymous

Ok people It is a song. :L Don't get worked up.
Does it really matter what the lyrics are, who it is to, what it is about.... Hmm not really. It is only a song!

  • Anonymous

Its a good song dont know why most people rant about chris brown and the lyrics, ten year olds should not be even listening try hannah montanna, High School musical and disney etc..

its just a song get over it ! most of the music these days are about sex there is not much u can do about it complaining on her lyrics wont help either so u either love it or hate it.. if hate it? dont listen to it! and if u dont want to listen to the new music out about sex? go to church and listen to gospel!

  • Anonymous

I love this song cuz she is expressing how she wants her man to put it on her

  • Anonymous

if u dnt want to listen to the song cover ur ears, if u dnt wnt ur kids listening to this then block the internet or dnt let them listen to the radio, its not her job to make sure ur kids arent listening to this. i think its great by the way, she changed her style.

This song is awesome... Rhianna has such an amazing voice.

And for all of you who are wigging out over the fact that it's explicit: grow up. Quite frankly, there are so many songs now-a-days in which men portray women as nothing but objects to be used and exploited that it's nice to see the tables turned once in a while.
(so says me and my soapbox. *cough*)

Why does it matter what or who it is about? It's a song whether you agree or disagree. It's meant for " entertainment ". Ahh ignorance is bliss. Then again uneducated people know ignorance well. You all sound like complete imbeciles. For those who don't know what imbecile MEANS.. it's a silly, stupid, well below par person, and yes it IS meant to be offensive. Perhaps you could get a little less ebonic-ish and type the native language you speak. Here in America it's called English. Get a clue, respect her, seriously. You all do realize she's not even from the States, right? Yet, she KNOWS proper English. Learn from a woman who's as beautiful, cultured, and sincere as her. Regardless of what her lyrics say.

Rihanna: I can only imagine what Jesus is thinking as He looks down on his daughter Rihanna singing lyrics that make love sound like no more than what animals do. I saw you on Ellen and could not believe what I saw and heard. Children were home on President's day. I am old enough to be your momma or grandma. If you were mine: those words would never have come out of your mouth. You are now in my prayers and I know Jesus will have Mercy on you because I am going to pray that He does.SB

Why is it about Chris Brown? I thought the lyrics were purely about sex but is that just me? haha .. 'can you get it up?' 'Is you big enough?' Is that not sexual?
I am Rihannas No#1 fan I love this song so much and she has a right to sing it even if it is about Chris Brown and she can if she wants to so I think that all u haters who say its crap and shes stupid, you should think if what she went through happened to you and I bet u'd do the same, I know I would. I am Rihannas No#1 fan I love this song so much and she has a right to sing it even if it is about Chris Brown and she can if she wants to so I think that all u haters who say its crap and shes stupid, you should think if what she went through happened to you and I bet u'd do the same, I know I would. Love you Rihanna xxxxxxxxxxx

Why is it about Chris Brown? I thought the lyrics were purely about sex but is that just me? haha .. 'can you get it up?' 'Is you big enough?' Is that not sexual?
