  i think both of those meanings to the song are true But this song means alot more. I think It mean you got to be out there and live like to the full. Life is for living not for wasting.So by Being Honest With yourself your being to Careful and Living. Lifes for The moment. So Live it whilst you still can.

  i think this song means that if you know what you want in life you cant just wait for things to come to you and just worry about the consequenses but reaching out and getting more than you are settling for and also i think it means to stop hiding your feelings and just live and show yourself to the world and see what you can experience when you let go and live how want to and enjoy as much as youcan get out of life.......
