OMEN is an American heavy metal band. The band was formed in Los Angeles, CA, in 1983, by lead guitarist Kenny Powell; previously with Savage Grace and signed on with Metal Blade in 1984, with whom they released their first three studio albums and Teeth of the Hydra, a compilation album. Currently they have released 10 albums including a 20th anniversary box set, as of 2010, are actively touring internationally under the current line up with an expected new release scheduled to be complete later this year.
