Riff: Nicki Minaj – “Pound the Alarm”

Oct 3, 2012

Bottle, sip, bottle, dozzle/I’m a bad bitch, no muzzle let’s go

from Pound the Alarm lyrics by Nicki Minaj

Quite possibly Minaj’s best song, which is akin to saying Saddam Hussein was one of the more likable mass murdering enemies of the US. While superior to the accidentally-autobiographical “Stupid Hoe,” “Pound the Alarm” offers nothing new or interesting even to diehard fans of Minaj’s vapid style.
