The brand is Popeye’s, but I never eat spinach/Eggs in the morning, put syrup on biscuits/Raised by the family, it takes a village/Standing on top and y’all looking like midgets
The Big Baller Brand gets another shot in the arm via its biggest asset. To mixed reviews, Lonzo has already dropped a few singles, each a bombastic commercial promoting him and his many ventures. The beat is doused in bass and reverberates throughout the landscape like a heard of frightened elephants, a lay-up effort that doesn’t do much for his deadpan delivery. The predictable nature of the content mirrors his game in a freakish way; one dimensional until he develops a long range assault. Unable to extend his reach, he resorts back to themes he’s already touched upon. To his credit family is still a cornerstone, which is saying more in one song than most rappers say in a lifetime.
