Riff: Justin Timberlake – “Mirrors”

Feb 21, 2013

If you ever feel alone and the glare makes me hard to find/Just know that I’m always peering out on the other side

from Mirrors lyrics by Justin Timberlake

A huge improvement on the non-event of “Suit & Tie,” this classic Timbaland mid-tempo is essentially “Cry Me A River” Pt.3. Although this time around it’s a Biel-inspired state of newlywed bliss rather than a bout of Britney-induced heartbreak that’s the focus of Timberlake’s blue-eyed-soul croon.
