Riff: Green Day – “Ashley”

Nov 13, 2012

Back when I loved you but you’re scaring me to death/This careless memory and now I could care less

from Ashley lyrics by Green Day

A little freewheeling’ feedback to try and shake the “filthy thought” in some character’s “memory,” “Ashley” follows a pervading noir theme on Dos!  lacing “bloody mary” cries and “crystal meth” mentions. Just a shame that GD just keep phoning the sonics in – a three-chord speed box bore.
