Riff: Coheed and Cambria – “Goodnight, Fair Lady”

Oct 5, 2012

Turn me over, roll me round/To find the truth that I don’t want found

from Goodnight, Fair Lady lyrics by Coheed and Cambria

Enjoyable yet boring mid-tempo pop-punk with little going on for a “proggy” band. Kind of an unsurprising lull for the album’s middle. Sanchez dances the line between wit and cliche artfully (and cryptically), so we might not fully know what the “concept” is behind this double-album until 2013.
