Riff: Chief Keef – “Be Back”

Dec 5, 2017

Count that cash fast/And you know I’m smoking big gas bags/Hit Saks with big ass cash backs/Don’t come to Chiraq you’re better off in Baghdad

from Be Back lyrics by Chief Keef

The beat is a simulated war zone; the spitfire hi-hats, the wayward lasers and thunderclaps. It’s a warning to all those looking to test him and his Chicago pedigree; that they’re better off going to Baghdad, which is a play on the tired Chiraq moniker. He’s living for today and is making sure he makes as much money and accumulates as much power as he can. A familiar theme, and still no progress.
