Riff: Bill Carter – “Road to Nowhere”

Jan 15, 2013

The wreckage of my past keeps haunting me/It just won’t leave me alone

from Road To Nowhere lyrics by Bill Carter

Swapping the original’s bombastic metal sound for a more wistful soft-rock approach, Carter’s second offering tackles the closer from Ozzy Osbourne’s No More Tears with aplomb, although its ‘you’re in control of your own destiny’ sentiment must have felt like an entirely alien concept to Echols.
