Riff: Bad Religion – “Nothing to Dismay”

Jan 21, 2013

No, no no security/Nothing to dismay

from Nothing to Dismay lyrics by Bad Religion

“Dismay” is another in this album’s line of melodic, sing-song punk rock, but this time with lyrics that offer very little. Even on its own, this track stagnates – BR could use some more variety in song-form, or at least throw some kinks into the mix, particularly in the guitars.

Riff by Karl Ernest

Karl is a Seattle-based musician and writer at SONGLYRICS; a veteran of both east and west-coast scenes, he has performed with the likes of The Ying Yang Twins, David Arquette, Wynton Marsalis, among others. But he's no stranger to seedy dives or house shows, either.

What is a RIFF?
