Riff: All Pigs Must Die – “Silencer”

Oct 23, 2013

I am among you as hunger grows, the life you’re given is mine to hold/See you suffer, watch you die, your tortured ghost has come to this

from Silencer lyrics by All Pigs Must Die

APMD have earned the title of best thrash/metal/hardcore supergroup. The over-the-top lyrical spite is almost undercut by their motivation to just have fun with no expectations, but either way – can’t remember being this floored by new, aggressive music in quite a while.

Riff by Karl Ernest

Karl is a Seattle-based musician and writer at SONGLYRICS; a veteran of both east and west-coast scenes, he has performed with the likes of The Ying Yang Twins, David Arquette, Wynton Marsalis, among others. But he's no stranger to seedy dives or house shows, either.

What is a RIFF?

A RIFF is a bonsai-trimmed song review in 300 characters or less, plugging your favorite lyric. Create your own, vote others to the TOP - the lyric is your oyster.
