Rap’s twilight zone – solid flow on a Top-40 song (what?), but the hook’s half-whining, half-“fuck-me” tone annoys. 50’s first verse, or his “comeback, kid,” especially surprises in its Method Man–style blows. Replace Levine’s bleating with a more forceful singer to polish this track.
