Today in awesome, punk Springsteenians Titus Andronicus turn Swedish electro-pop 2:37 club smash, “I Love It” [LISTEN] by the Icona Pop duo into a frothy, beautifully destructive beer-swilled eight-minute marathon of filthy distortion and octave-cracking Joe Strummer squall, changing its name rightly to “I Don’t Care.” Gone are its lovable 90s brat verses of indifference, replaced by the satire of a bunch of sweaty New Jersey kids from a decade previous, Patrick Stickles just bending over and you-know-what-ing authority to a degree two Swedish girls have to be blushing over right now. Damn it must feel good to be Titus:

I don’t care, I love it (infinite repeat)

Fighting with the cops, I love it, yeah

Yelling at my parents, I love it

Breaking all the rules, I love it

Here and all the time, I love it

Breaking all the rules, I love it

Smoking at the school, I love it

Breaking all the rules, I love it

Fighting with the cops, I love it

Breaking all the laws, I love it

Fucking everyone, I love it

Oh yeah!
