But even his debut had these kinds of moments maybe not with such a strong content, like runaway baby a sassy song about him being a player, our first time which I can see bruno doing a medley of this song with show me, liquor store blues about drinking away your problems, the other side about crossing the boundaries and still he didn’t lose that sweet side in his second album, when I was your man which is the second single right now shows a vulnerable side of bruno, If I knew, treasure and even young girls are the kind of songs what his fans have been waiting to hear from him, so maybe it’s all about whatever he was feeling that day when he started writing songs for this album and that he genuinely enjoys doing different styles and writing about different themes. I mean I am glad that bruno is realizing that catching grenades for bitches who broke his heart is no good, that’s why I am in love with Natalie.

Hey Natasha. I actually thought Unorthodox Jukebox was a pretty solid follow-up. The only problem I had with it was that it just seemed to be trying a little too hard to be ‘bad-boy.’ To go from ‘Just The Way You Are’ to tales of strip clubs and ‘gold-digging bitches,’ not to mention all the sleazy sex talk – it all seems a little transparent. Mars has obviously got a great ear for melody – but don’t think his skills as a lyricist quite match just yet. But like you said, I’m sure he’ll change things up again for album No.3.

I don’t get your review, you’re mocking him and degrading every song on the record, the way you describe his songs, making them sound like they are just horrible which’s the exact opposite, I think this album is so much better as a whole than his debut, he can’t stay sunshine forever, I mean wasn’t that the main problem that the critics had with his debut saying he’s trying to be too sweet and the sound is too sugary, Bruno has always been described as a man with many styles of music and he gets bored quickly, I think his third album will be also different which is very exciting to wait for.

Thanks for the comments! I guess ‘Doo-Wops & Hooligans’ was just testing the waters then and now he’s starting to show a bit more of his true self, but it’s just a little harder to swallow because of his previous boy-next-door image. Will be interesting to see if he keeps up this whole bad-boy persona for album No.3. Judging by the record’s success, it obviously hasn’t put many people off.

This is incredibly hilarious. But, I actually think this album is more in tune with his personality. After reading/watching some of his old interviews, dudes not as squeaky clean as his image projected. Not in a horrible way or anything, it’s just that his personality was a lot more “adult” than I was lead to believe, based on his 1st album.
