Drake posted a Twitter video to retort JAY-Z‘s “The Story Of O.J.,” in which Hov takes a jab at rappers who use money phones (stacks of cash that people pretend are phones).

JAY-Z can’t catch a break since his 4:44 album dropped, and the O.J. song is the biggest culprit. First, people called him a racist against Jewish people because he raps:

You wanna know what’s more important than throwin’ away money at a strip club?

You ever wonder why Jewish people own all the property in America?
This how they did it
Financial freedom my only hope
F**k livin’ rich and dyin’ broke

Now other rappers are responding to JAY-Z’s line about money phones:

Y’all on the Gram holdin’ money to your ear
There’s a disconnect, we don’t call that money over here, yeah

In response to this, Boosie BadAzz said, “JAY-Z don’t tell me what to do. I don’t know about ya but he doesn’t tell me what to do.”

Now Drake is poking fun at JAY-Z’s money-phone dis.

Drake was at the Houston Appreciation Weekend when he appeared in a video jokingly holding stack of cash up to his ears.

“Hello?” he says in the video. “What they say? Don’t put money in your ear? Oh, I didn’t hear that.”

Some people saw this is a hurtful stab at JAY-Z, but others pointed out this was just one rapper playing with another rapper.

“Drake has never been one to do the ‘money phone’ thing so obviously Hov’s line didn’t get to him,” one Twitter user said. “He’s just poking fun.”

Another user said JAY-Z probably doesn’t even care about this video from Drake.

I have a feeling this is not the end of the shade that’ll be thrown at JAY-Z or his new album. But JAY-Z seems to handle it all just fine, or else he wouldn’t keep writing lyrics that not everyone is comfortable with.
