  Miley: My name is Yancey and I'm 40 years old. "The Climb" is very meaningful to me and near & dear to my heart. I was injured this past spring and required physical therapy. I absolutely HATED it. My cousin played this song for me and I immediately fell in love with it. I put it on my iPod with it's own playlist (The Climb 100 times). It constantly reminded me that if I wanted to get better that I had to make the effort. I'm finished with physical therapy now and now working out at the gym connected to the physical therapy facility. Whenever I feel like giving up I keep thinking about what's waiting on the other side. Thank you for continually giving me hope and inspiration through your music. God bless you Miley.

  My husband was recently diagnosed with cirrohsis of the liver. It's going to be an up hill battle from here on.   I think this song tells us that dreams are worth reaching even though there are obstacles to face, I do believe there are many battles we have to face, and God helps us get through each, and he tests our faith to see if we will continue fighting to reach our dream, it is well worth fighting for because God is right there with us, and when it is all said and done, it is very true that what we will remember most is the climb and what we struggled through to get there, but it is in those moments that we grow and learn and change, that's what God wants and then once we have learned what he wants us to learn, we reach our dream!
