To comment on the comment made by the person on September 7th...not that i want to judge you...but how on earth did you come up with that analogy that the song is about sex...narrow minded ppl who have nothing but sex on the brain i think would come up wit that. But if you have the mind of those like Matthew and others who have the desire to follow Christ and want the hunger and thirst after righteousness..you'd understand wat the song is about. The passion is Christ's love...not going through the motions of plastic christianity...talking the talk an walking wat we think we should walk an not living like Christ fully "giving everything instead of going through the motions"

No, he's talking about giving your life fully surrendered to Jesus Christ. In other words, rather than just pretending to be a Christian and going through religious motions, he is saying he wants to be the person who God can ask anything of him and he'll do it. He doesn't want to look back having never done anything for God.

I think this song really relates to me. Often I know that I just live through the motions, go through the routine of living my spiritual life. And this song really reminds me that that is not truly living for God, and that we need to do things wholeheartedly.
