Marilyn Manson - Four Rusted Horses Lyrics

Artist: Marilyn Manson

Album: The High End Of Low

  • Songwriters: Brian Hugh Warner

Ride this dying carousel
Four rusted horses strangled by their own rope
Where children love are singing
We'll know that their tired hearts had broke
That their tired hearts had broke

Everyone will come, everyone will come
To my funeral to make sure that I stay dead
Everyone will come, everyone will come
To my funeral to make sure that I stay dead, dead

I can see the coffin shining through my tinted window
Must've missed the sign that said it was a fire sale
I can see the coffin shining through my tinted window
Must've missed the sign that said it was a fire sale

Everyone will come, everyone will come
To my funeral to make sure that I stay dead
Everyone will come, everyone will come
To my funeral to make sure that I stay dead

You can't take this from me
Forbidden in heaven and useless in hell
You can't take this from me
Forbidden in heaven and useless in hell, useless in hell

But I can see the coffin shining through my tinted window
Must've missed the sign that said it was a fire sale
I can see the coffin shining through my tinted window
Must've missed the sign that said it was a fire sale

Everyone will come, everyone will come
To my funeral to make sure that I stay dead
Everyone will come, everyone will come
To my funeral to make sure that I stay dead

You can't take this from me
Forbidden in heaven and useless in hell
You can't take this from me
Forbidden in heaven and useless in hell

You can't take this from me
Forbidden in heaven and useless in hell
You can't take this from me
Forbidden in heaven and useless in hell, useless in hell

Ride this dying carousel
Four rusted horses strangled by their own rope
Where children love are singing
We'll know that their tired hearts had broke
That their tired hearts had broke
Now that their tired hearts had broke

Isn't it too much of repeating the same words? This song is good, but listening to it makes me want more variated text.

Well... he's a real poet. It's evident that he changed. I like the old Manson more but this CD is very interesting.

"he had so much ideas its hard to make new if u had use them alredy. but he is good make these up so i really look up to him" - Linn says about her friend marilyn manson.

All his songs are great! This album is just different. But the lyrics have to do with life and love and sociaty. His old where about different things, and he did just a good job then as he does now.
