My friend sang this in church this morning after giving her testimony about the faithfulness of God through the loss of her husband. I lost my husband 5 years ago, after 44 years of mariage. The pain and brokenness never go away, but I found the more I worshiped God and prayed the more peace I felt. Jesus is indeed the comforter he promised to be. HALLELUJAH !!!!

I heard this song a week after my brother in law committed suicide, he was so depressed and felt so alone, that he felt there was no other way out of his depression. He was found behind a church and I believe whole heartedly that he was praying to God with his "Broken Hallelujahs".

I heard this song at the Women of Faith conference in Dallas a few weeks ago, and it touched my heart! I realized, that even though I was soooo broken, God still loved me and I should love myself :-)

Thank You Lord Jesus! That even in the moments that we don't feel like lifting a hand of praise...we can because you are worthy! It's not about us or how we feel but about what you've done! This song brought me to tears and an instant state of praise to Jesus Christ!
