Album: Mean Everything To Nothing
I could feel a hot one taking me down
For a moment I could feel the force
Fainted to the point of tears
And you were holding on to make a point
What's the point?
I'm but a clean man, stable and alone man
Make it so I won't have to try
The faces always stay the same
So I face the fact that I'm just fine
I said that I'm just fine
I remember, head down
After you had found out
Manna is a hell of a drug
And I need a little more, I think
Because enough is never quite enough
I took it like a grown man crying on the pavement
Hoping you would show your face
But I haven't heard a thing you've said
In at least a couple hundred days
What'd you say?
I was in the front seat, shaking it out
And I was asking if you felt alright
I never want to hear the truth
I want to hear your voice, it sounded fine
My voice, it sounded fine
I could feel my heartbeat taking me down
And for the moment, I would sleep alright
Invading with a selfish fear
To keep me up another restless night
Another restless night
The blood was dry, it was sober
The feeling of audible cracks
And I could tell it was over
From the curtains that hung from your neck
And I realized that then you were perfect
And my teeth ripping out of my head
And it looked like a painting I once knew
Back when my thoughts weren't entirely intact
To pray for what I thought were angels
Ended up being ambulances
And the Lord showed me dreams of my daughter
She was crying inside your stomach
And I felt love again

He said in an interview that it was about a dream he had where his pregnant wife was killed in a car accident. Google it.
your all stupid. its about a guy who is on drugs and the girlfriend is trying to make him stop. she didn't want her daughter to grow up that way so she hung herself and killed her and the baby. it had nothing to do with a car crash or a hospital.
is it about her killing herself or car crash? cause it says "curtain hanging from her neck"
On Mean Everything to Nothing's seventh track, the standout "I Can Feel a Hot One," the singer recalls a dream involving a car crash that takes his wife's life."The way that song is written is, in the first half I'm basically just describing touring and kind of my relationship with God and my wife," he explains. "And the end is about this dream I had about us being in the van and getting sideswiped and hit by a huge truck. I dreamed my wife was pregnant at the time and I lost her. But this life was inside her, and in some weird way I was able to celebrate that there was some new life coming with one ending."
My friends brother produced this group. Actually it's about a guy with a drug addiction and he's driving with his pregnant girlfriend and gets in a car crash. He survives and she doesnt but shs's carring his daughter and he is carring the guilt of killing her.
I think its about a man who used to be on drugs but is now sober he recently stopped using and thats why they hadnt talked in awhile, and he was rushing his wife/girlfriend to the hospital cause she was going to have his baby but the car crashed and she was holding onto her life but died and the abulance came and saved the daughter crying inside her stomach.
I abslutely love this song and the mystery of it's lyrics!
I think the meaning can be different to everyone, but I see it like this.
He is in love with this girl and she's pregnant from him, and despite her flaws he can't contain his feelings. He tries to nurture and take care of her but she's addicted to drugs and despite their efforts, can't stay clean. eventually he gives her the ultimatum, a choice between him and the drugs. the sad end is that she chooses the drugs over her love. As well as slowly killing the baby inside of her by the dryg abuse. This is just my idea, but it seems to fit.
