to me, this actually has a conservative message to it, with all the things that are going on in our country right now. Hope is not lost. We (the people) are the solution. It is time for us to proclaim our freedom and give voice to our liberation. I don't know if this is what they were going for, but that's how I relate to it. great song by a great band.
