I just got married to someone and now that we are married, he started changing and stopped trying. Made excuses of why he can't control his temper and tries to make everything alright by ignoring the fact that my heart isn't in it anymore.I try to tell him I just can't pretend anymore I want to leave and he ignores me like i never said anything. He will come home soon one day and find a note and my stuff gone. This song just says in my situation that my heart just left him a long time before I could gather my things and leave. In the end he will be the victim and feel self-pity, never allowing himself to change for the better by feeling the truth.
