i dont care what this song is about. it makes me so happy. i love the beat, i love the words. ive literally been lisstening to my ipod all day and this is the only song ive listened too. (:

If you don't think this song is about heroin addiction, you've probably never been addicted to something. The song has subtle undertones of a relationship gone awry because that's what heroin does to you. It becomes your best friend and lover until it turns on you, and ruins everything.

"I hope I can feel and see the change," gave it away to me long before I ever heard the line about feeding lies to his veins, but the veins line basically cemented my opinion that the song is about drug abuse.

As to the guy who said that those of you who think the song is about heroin need counseling, I might ask you to look up a term psychologists use called "projecting."

The girl was misleading him and using him with lies, and he bought into it. Only now does he realize what her intentions were, and now he's having some second thoughts about her if you know what I mean...

this song is awesome. and yes, it is about a rocky relationship, with meybe SOME reference to drugs, but i dont think that's what infected meant it to be.

Anyone who assumes this song is about heroin addiction or something needs to seriously seek some counseling. Their last several albums have actually had very little in the way of drug reference as the guys have really grown up, so to speak. This song may be referencing Saeed Mortazavi in a sort of tongue-in-cheek manner in title only, but the song itself is definitely about a relationship and how easy it is for a relationship to turn into torture if it isn't nurtured.
