I think this song is referencing the chinese/japanese empires. and when little dragon is singing she's singing about noodles experiences and little memories of her childhood. anyone else agree?

Little Dragon straight up sucks. This song is so amazing until that dumb woman opens her asian mouth. but hey, gorillaz is a marketing project with a target audience of EVERYONE ... but before you go wasting your time checking out Little Dragon's retarded music (YES i have checked it out), go check out Damon Albarn's other work, like Mali Music, or even Blur's "Think Tank".

Yukimi's part makes the most sense but i can't explain what she saying. The song is great.

you should check out little dragon. a swedish band... their song "Looking Glass" is awesome. their album's called Machine Dreams, which the part that Yukimi sings is clearly influenced by..." my little dream, working the machine" .

Ita cuz Little Dragon and the voice of Yukimi Nagano is amazing. And the gorillaz were smart enough to realize it.
