I fail to see how, as the lyrics are based off David Bowe's song, which has nothing to do with any specific event in space travel, it was just re-releasedc for the shuttle launch...

this song is about the challenger shuttle disaster in the 80s
the words are great and so is the music itself it makes a great warmup song for basically any sport
