I love that my music station plays this song year-round. I first heard it at Christmas and was afraid they would stop playing it, but I've heard it sporadically all year!

Each time I hear the line 'How many fathers gave up their sons for me?", I get a lump in my throat, tears in my eyes and over whelming awe and joy in my heart for my LORD. Thank you.

I also agree, I would love to hear this song a lot more all year long. I fell in love with it the first time I heard it and love it more when I learned all the words.
It does not need to be saved for just the holidays.

I LOVE this song! Beautiful message, beautiful melody. "Only one God, only one Lord, only one great, only one King, only one father" - Our Heavenly Father is the only one who did all of those things for me... and for you. We don't deserve it, but he made His son the perfect sacrifice for us in spite of our inadequacy. How humbling, and how amazing!
