  Very catchy.
  Seems to be saying that after being kicked and left for dead by the plutocracy that runs this world, that ruling class that use cheap third world labor and devalue our currencies, one has turned turn to the dark one, the "sweet shadow" that is taking hold of the light. Sounds like Lucifer the "light-bringer" to me. The very evil that brings us pain and suffering. The irony is deafening.
