I saw/heard Dennis DeYoung/Styx sing this song for the first time this morning on A&E's "Private Sessions." The lyrics, the message slew me in my heart. I would/will fight to the last drop of blood to defend our way of life, our freedoms, our rights, my family, my nation, but my GOD; it's not for retribution or to make me look like a false hero in the eyes of Muslims. When will you insane bastards ever learn to live and let live? What is Israel, Jews and Christians to you, how are we such a threat you want to kill us all? How is anything non-Islamic such a threat to you that you think you have to kill every one of us just because we choose not to believe as you do? Do WE come and slaughter you, your mothers, your old fathers, your children just because of your religion? NO! So can't you think of anything better to do with your lives and your time, the precious gift God gave you? Do you not see that when your children see you murdering others and blowing yourselves up you're just going to perpetrate this insanity in them, and in my children as well, for all future centuries? Is this the best you can do? God will hold you responsible for what you do and what you do not do. 70 virgins? Are you really that stupid and that gullible? You should copy this song in Arabic and post on the wall of every home, every public place. But you won't. You have no courage; you're all cowards; you all are. You're not men, you're robots, spineless children. And the needless killing will go on and on and on...Merry Christmas to you, too.
