This song has so much meaning for me and my siblings. I have two other sisters
and two brothers and we lost our dad to cancer 6 yrs ago but it seems like
yesterday, we were a very very close family, and it broke our hearts to see
him suffer in his final days with all of us around him, from his kids to his
grandchildren to his great grandchildren, we all loved him so so much and we
lost him to bone cancer, so to us girls this song really hit home, to a man
who gave his girls away, we miss and love you dad, and you will always and
forever be in our thoughts and prayers everyday of the rest of our lives.

is now 48yrs old.

I think that this song is really toching! The first time i heared it on the radio i started crying, it was so sad! All i know is that i'm very lucky to have a dad!

i love this song!!! it really hit me hard when i heard it though because my dad died when i was 13 years old. and i was i really close to him. but i had to move away from my family and didnt get to see him for 2 years and didnt get to say i love you before he died. i really love my daddy and he wont get to see me graduate and be there to walk me down the aisle and didnt get to see me be baptised. i love and really miss you daddy and i wasnt ready to let go.
